Guild of St Clare: Oxford Half Marathon 2026

On 11th October, I am running the Oxford Half Marathon to raise funds for the Guild of St Clare apostolate: mending and making vestments for priests who celebrate the Traditional Latin Mass. Two years ago, thanks to the generosity of our benefactors, we were able to restore a beautiful white Cope, embroidered with the Pelican in her Piety. This time, we would like to make a Humeral Veil to match it, for use in Benediction of the Blessed Sacraments at our Sewing Retreats. The Guild of St Clare is led and staffed by volunteers, and all funds raised go towards supporting our priests and promoting and teaching the hand sewing skills necessary for traditional vestment making.
