Hello, fellow believers! My name is Bill and a little over a year ago, God led me to be the principal of a bilingual Christian school in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.  I am a father of two wonderful children, and my wife Naty, teaches Kindergarten at the school as well. We both love working with young people and spent many years serving in the public school systems in Florida and Colorado.  As our faith grew and we began to see more clearly the spiritual warfare facing the world,  we felt great conviction regarding what public schools were teaching our children and realized we had to dedicate our efforts to serving the Lord and spreading His word.

He gave us the opportunity to  lead at Flourish Children’s School and now we are blessed to teach youth about the love and life of Jesus while helping grow God’s Kingdom.  We enjoy a simple life here, taking time to visit beautiful beaches while enjoying the tropical climate, and we have been blessed to meet so many amazing believers.  We have been here since August 2024 and continue finding so much joy in glorifying God and serving him at our school as well as serving at Tamarindo Church. 

Our financial reality is that our Costa Rican salary combined with a much higher cost of living than we had anticipated is exhausting our savings and we are going to need God's help to achieve our dream -  being able to stay here long term and ultimately be able to buy our own home, where we can put down roots and continue serving the Lord.

Additionally, we would like to provide opportunities for our 20 year old son and a 15 year old daughter who love the Lord and want to serve Him as well.  Between the school, youth group at the church and the tremendous growth in the area, there are so many amazing opportunities to spread the gospel and we need God’s help to be able to pay our monthly expenses and save up to buy a home.  Our dream is to combine the long term security owning a home provides with a space to host bible studies and youth groups, welcome friends and family to study the Word and strengthen our bonds with God.  Additionally, Naty and I are passionate about starting a marriage ministry to help couples see how important marriage is to God and that fulfulling the specific roles he gives to husbands and wives is the only way to create a strong marriage that can weather any storm.  It is our belief that Christian marriages don't receive the support and guidance that they need despite being foundational to Godly homes, thriving churches and healthy communities.  

So, after prayerful consideration and consulting with our pastor, we have decided to trust God and put our story out into the community of believers to try and find possible partners in this journey toward a more secure future where we can focus our energy on spreading the gospel.

I invite you to join us in this dream of owning a home, where we can continue our ministry with little ones and meet the growing demand for Christian education. Our current income meets about 60% of our monthly expenses  and our goal is to raise enough to pay our bills and start saving so we can secure a place that truly belongs to us and to bless future generations. Any additional funds we receive would be used to help those less fortunate and given to local churches and charities.

Please don’t hesitate to contribute your grain of sand and help us reach this dream. We are humble pieces of God’s plan, but we firmly believe in His divine power to change stories when we remain committed to the purpose He has called us to. We have complete faith and trust in God and His promises and we often refer to Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.”
