BRIDGES exists to see lives changed by Jesus by providing lasting reentry support through the body of Christ—building bridges from incarceration to community, purpose, and a new direction through the model of Jesus Christ.

Every year, men and women leave incarceration wanting to build a different life, but returning home is often where the hardest part begins. Finding a safe place to live, reconnecting with family, finding employment, getting identification, meeting probation requirements, and simply having people who believe in them can make the difference between moving forward and returning to the life they left behind.

BRIDGES was created to help fill that gap.

Our vision is to come alongside people returning from incarceration with spiritual, practical, relational, and directional support. We want to help people know that their past does not have to determine their future—and that they are not walking into that future alone.

As we begin building this ministry, one of our immediate priorities is developing safe and stable housing opportunities for people coming home from incarceration. A safe place to live provides a foundation from which a person can begin rebuilding their life, pursuing employment, reconnecting with family, growing spiritually, and becoming part of a healthy community.

We are raising $5,000 to help establish and support this housing effort, while also laying the groundwork for the broader BRIDGES ministry.

More importantly, we believe that lasting change happens when people experience the love of Christ through people who are willing to walk alongside them.
