Fundraising TipsWhat to Say When You Don't Know What to Say
Posted by Alex Shipley on Sep 24, 2025
Your GiveSendGo campaign is live-yay! You've uploaded photos, written your story, and set your goal. Now comes the part most people aren't quite ready for: sharing it. And let's be honest-that's the part that feels the most awkward. Do I sound desperate? Am I bothering people? What if no one responds? You might rewrite your text three times, stare at a blank caption, or decide to "just wait a little longer." But here's the truth: sharing is what makes campaigns succeed. In fact, the most successful campaigns get 1,400% more views than the average campaign. Why? Because they're shared early, often, and everywhere. But you don't have to overthink it. People love you. They want to help. And when you share, your friends and family will share, and then their friends will share. Even just ten people sharing your campaign can snowball into tens of thousands-or even hundreds of thousands-of views. Still, knowing what to say can feel like the hardest part. That's why we've pulled together ready-to-use templates for every type of campaign. Copy them. Tweak them. Steal them outright. No judgment. Adoption "We've dreamed for so long of growing our family through adoption. It's a beautiful journey, but the costs are overwhelming and not something we can carry on our own. Every prayer, share, and gift brings us closer to holding [child/baby] in our arms and giving them a loving home. If you'd like to help us bring this dream to life, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Animals / Pets "[Pet's name] has been part of our family through so many seasons of life. After [accident/illness/surgery/their passing], we're suddenly facing bills we never expected. If you'd like to help us cover the cost of their [surgery or treatment, end-of-life care, or memorial costs], please consider giving or sharing our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for your support." Business "Starting [business name/idea] has been a leap of faith-something we believe can [impact goal-serve others, help the community, support our family]. We're passionate about making this dream real, but getting started comes with more expenses than we can manage alone. If you'd like to support us as we pursue this new venture, please consider giving to our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Church "Our church family is stepping into a new season with [project-renovations, expansion, new ministry]. We believe this will allow us to serve more people and share the hope of Jesus in deeper ways. We'd love for you to join us in prayer and, if you're able, by giving or sharing. Every bit helps us move closer to making this vision a reality. Here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Community "Our community is working together on [project-playground, food drive, outreach]. This matters deeply to us because [reason it impacts the neighborhood/town]. We believe it will bring people together and meet real needs, but it will take all of us to make it happen. If you'd like to help, whether by giving or spreading the word, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for being part of this with us." Creative "I've poured everything I have into creating [book, film, music, art, etc.]. I believe this project can inspire, encourage, and make an impact-but I can't make it happen alone. If you'd like to come alongside me in bringing this dream to life, please consider supporting my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Your encouragement means the world." Current Events "Right now, [briefly describe event-storm, fire, crisis] has affected so many lives. We're raising funds to bring relief, comfort, and practical help to those who need it most. Every prayer, share, and dollar truly makes a difference. If you'd like to be part of this effort, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Education "I've been working hard toward [degree/program/schooling goal], and while the journey has been amazing, the cost has become more than I can handle on my own. If you'd like to come alongside me with prayer, sharing, or giving to help further my educational journey, please visit my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for all of your support and encouragement." Emergency "This week turned our world upside down. After [briefly describe: house fire, job loss, accident], we're just trying to get back on our feet. It's humbling to ask, but we can't do it alone. We'd be so grateful for your prayers, shares, or any support you can give. Here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Evangelism "I've been called to share the hope of Jesus with [group/community/location]. This campaign helps cover [travel, resources, training] so I can go and serve. Your prayers mean the most, but if you'd also like to support financially or share with others, here's my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for partnering with me." Event "We're planning [event: wedding, reunion, conference, concert], something we've been looking forward to for a long time. But pulling it all together takes more than we can handle on our own. If you'd like to help us make this special moment possible, either by giving or sharing, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. We're so grateful for you." Family "Our family is in the middle of [season-new baby, big move, unexpected need], and it's more than we can carry by ourselves. We would love your prayers most of all, and if you feel led to help in other ways, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Your love and support mean so much to us." First Responders "Every day, first responders put themselves on the line for us. Right now, [firefighter/police officer/EMT] in our community needs help after [injury, hardship, loss]. This is our chance to give back to someone who has given so much. If you'd like to show your support, here's their fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Legal "We're walking through a difficult legal battle involving [brief situation-custody, defense, justice]. The emotional and financial toll has been heavy, but we believe truth and justice are worth standing for. If you'd like to support us through prayer, sharing, or giving, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for standing with us." Medical "Our loved one [name] is facing [diagnosis/medical emergency], and the medical bills are far beyond what we can manage. We're holding onto faith and trusting God to provide through the love of our community. If you'd like to come alongside us-through prayer, sharing, or giving-here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. We can't thank you enough for your support." Memorial "Our hearts are broken after losing [loved one's name]. We're raising funds to help with [funeral costs/family support] as we walk through this season of grief. If you'd like to honor [name's] memory and help us carry this burden, please give, share, or pray through our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for surrounding us with love." Mission "I'm preparing for a mission trip to [location] to share the hope of Jesus with [group/community name]. I'd love your prayers most of all, but if you'd also like to support financially or spread the word, here's my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]. Thank you for being part of this mission to make Jesus known." Non-Profit "Our non-profit [name] exists to [mission-feed families, serve kids, rescue animals]. The need is bigger than we can meet alone, but together we can make an incredible impact. Right now, we're raising funds for [specific need-meals, supplies, outreach]. If you'd like to partner with us and be part of meeting this need, here's our fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Political "I'm running for [office] because I believe in [cause/vision]. Campaigning takes resources, and I can't do this without the support of my community. If you'd like to stand with me in this effort, here's my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." Competitive "I've worked hard for the opportunity to compete in [competition/sport]. This has been a dream and a goal for a long time, but the costs of training and travel are more than I can afford on my own. With your prayers and support, I can make it happen. Here's my fundraising campaign: [GiveSendGo campaign link]." A Few Tips: Keep it short. You don't need to include every detail-that's what your campaign description is for. Just share the essentials and explain why support matters to you. Be honest. If asking feels awkward, say that! Vulnerability connects and people respond to authenticity. Share more than once. Don't be afraid to post updates-most people need a reminder before they give. Lead with gratitude. Even if someone only prays or shares, thank them. Every response matters. Start close to home. Share first with your friends and family. They're the most likely to support you because they know you personally. Then ask them to share with their circles to help spread the word even further. Sharing your campaign isn't about twisting arms-it's about inviting others to be part of something bigger than themselves. And trust us, people want to help. So share early. Share often. Share everywhere. And if you get stuck, just grab one of these templates and hit "send." You've got this! And if you don't have a campaign yet? Don't wait for the "perfect" time. Go start a GiveSendGo campaign today. You know someone in need of a little help and hope.
GiveSendGo FeaturesWhen a Nation Unites to Share Hope
Posted by Alex Shipley on Sep 19, 2025
A little over a week ago, our nation was shaken by the sudden and tragic assassination of Charlie Kirk. The grief has been heavy and overwhelming. Yet from this darkness, something profound has stirred in the hearts of Americans. Across living rooms, churches, and college campuses, people are asking hard questions, wrestling with what they believe, and finding the courage to speak truth boldly - many for the first time. This moment in history will not soon be forgotten. It has drawn many to church who wouldn't have gone otherwise, inspired others to renew their faith, and reminded us all of the founding values and freedoms our nation was built upon - values Charlie so boldly championed. It has also stirred many to take action on GiveSendGo, and for that we want to say thank you. First, thank you to Liberty Memes Foundation. you were the first to step in with a campaign for Charlie's wife and children, and we are grateful that you placed your confidence in GiveSendGo to rally that support. Thank you to Turning Point USA for inspiring so many to carry on Charlie's legacy of faith, family, and freedom, and for trusting GiveSendGo to host a campaign that honors his life while providing for his family. Thank you to Glenn Beck for uniting people through the 9-12 Project fundraiser, giving Charlie's family crucial support and inviting Americans to come together in meaningful ways - and for trusting GiveSendGo to bring your vision to life. And thank you to Tucker Carlson and the ALP team for raising awareness, securing resources, and rallying support for Charlie's family, while trusting GiveSendGo as the platform where your audience could respond with both help and hope. We are truly humbled and honored to be the platform of choice for each of you, where your leadership has opened the door for thousands to respond in remarkable ways. View the GiveSendGo by Liberty Memes Foundation View the GiveSendGo by Turning Point USA View the GiveSendGo by Tucker Carlson View the GiveSendGo by Glenn Beck And thank you to every person who has donated, prayed, encouraged, and shared. What has unfolded through these campaigns is nothing short of extraordinary. One campaign alone has raised more than $5.3 million, at one point seeing donations pour in at over $4,000 a minute. Yet as staggering as those numbers are, they only tell part of the story. Even more powerful is the hope that has been shared through every word and action taken. This is what will leave a lasting mark on the Kirk family: the knowledge that thousands have come together to say, "You are not alone. We stand with you. We will not let Charlie's voice be silenced." Crowdfunding at its best brings help and hope together. It turns tragedy into testimony, loss into legacy, and mourning into an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Generosity is never just about money. Financial support meets urgent needs, but money alone cannot heal grief or replace the presence of a husband and father. It's help and hope together that comforts a grieving widow, strengthens those who mourn alongside her, and reminds us all of what our nation can be when united. That is why Liberty Memes Foundation's decision to step in first is so important. They did not wait for someone else. They saw a need and acted. That is what we encourage everyone to do. Do not wait for someone "big" or "better-suited" to take the lead. When you see a need, start a GiveSendGo, step in, and be the change you want to see in the world. That is what crowdfunding should be. It's how others are inspired to step up in their own way, how communities are strengthened, and how hope spreads far beyond what any one person or group could accomplish alone. This outpouring of support is also evidence that nothing is ever wasted by our Lord. God uses every circumstance, every life, and even every loss to accomplish His purposes. Romans 8:28 reminds us, "in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." As 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 states, He comforts us in our troubles so that we can comfort others. And John 1:5 says, "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." Charlie loved Jesus with all his heart and unashamedly proclaimed Him as Lord. Even in his absence, his legacy endures, seen in the unity, courage, and generosity of those rising up to carry forward truth and the light of the gospel. So once again, thank you to Liberty Memes Foundation, Turning Point USA, Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson, and so many others for stepping in and leading the way. And thank you to every giver, campaign creator and sharer, and prayer warrior. What you are doing matters. The echo of your impact, and of Charlie's impact, will continue to inspire and call countless others to action. Because of you, and because of this extraordinary community, we are seeing crowdfunding at its fullest potential. The values of our nation are being upheld. The family of God is being strengthened. And the hope of Jesus is being multiplied. Keep shining brightly.
Fundraising Tips5 Traits of a Successful Campaign Anyone Can Apply
Posted by Alex Shipley on Sep 12, 2025
What makes one campaign take off while another struggles to get traction? It's not luck. It's not a secret formula only a select few know. And it's definitely not about having flashy graphics (though good media does help) or a giant following. The difference comes down to a handful of simple, doable traits that the most successful campaigns consistently share. The best part? These aren't out of reach for you. Anyone can apply them-and when you do, you'll be setting your campaign up for real momentum and impact. Haven't started your GiveSendGo campaign yet? There's no better time. Everyone has something-or someone-worth fundraising for. Start your campaign today, then put these 5 traits into action: 1. Tell Your Story With Transparency The best campaigns don't just list needs-they invite people into a story. They paint a picture of why the need matters, how generosity will make a real difference, and what's at stake if nothing changes. Great fundraisers are committed to honesty and clarity, making sure to share: The Why: What the need is, what's at stake, and why it matters. The Honest Details: How donations will be used. The Impact: The real-life difference each gift will make. You don't need to write a novel. Around 300-500 words is plenty-enough to share the heart behind the need, the personal details that make it relatable, and the invitation for others to join in. But it's not so much about how short or long your campaign description is-it's when people understand the "why" and connect with the human side of your story that they're inspired to take action. (P.S. MICA, our My Intelligent Campaign Assistant, is like your built-in writing coach-helping you polish your story into something that's both clear and compelling.) 2. Choose Your Pictures & Videos Wisely A picture really does say a thousand words, and your campaign header image tells your story in just a split second. Blurry or unrelated photos can distract-or even discourage-givers, while strong visuals draw people in and help them feel connected. Choose clear, bright photos that show real emotion, and if possible, add a short video. It doesn't need to be fancy-just authentic. People want to see who and what they're giving to, and a good image or video helps make that connection instantly. 3. Put a Face to the Need People give to people-not to vague causes. One of the fastest ways to build trust is to make it clear who your campaign is for. Whether the recipient is you, your family, or someone else you're advocating for, say it upfront. Avoid being vague-it only leaves room for doubt. Instead, be personal and transparent. When people can see exactly who their generosity is impacting, they feel confident about giving. 4. Share Early & Often (Shout it from the Rooftops!) The first 24 hours of your campaign are golden. Early momentum builds confidence and shows others that your cause is worth supporting. Start by reaching out personally to your closest friends and family. Send a text, an email, or make a call. Then keep the momentum going-post on social media, send updates, thank givers publicly, and even share offline through church groups, community boards, or conversations. Don't just post once and hope for the best. Keep reminding your community that their generosity is making a difference, and invite them to keep sharing. 5. Don't Do It Alone Think of your campaign like a campfire. The most effective fundraisers treat their closest circle like the "spark" that gets the fire going. Invite your family and friends to be the first to give and share. Their early support adds credibility and helps the campaign spread beyond your own network. From there, the circle grows wider as others catch the vision and pass it on. Your Campaign Can Thrive These 5 traits aren't revolutionary or complicated-and they're not reserved for a select few. They're simple, practical steps you can start applying right now. Be honest. Share your story. Use great visuals. Be clear about who you're helping. Spread the word early and often. Rally your team. When you do, you'll be setting your campaign up for success and giving your community the chance to step in and make a difference. So don't wait. Your story deserves to shine. Go fundraise like a PRO!
Fundraising TipsThere’s No Shame in Crowdfunding (Or in Asking for Help)
Posted by Alex Shipley on Sep 9, 2025
If you're anything like me (hi there!), asking for help-especially financial help-can feel downright awkward, humiliating, and like waving a white flag. Trust me, you're not alone in this. Studies show we're all guilty of waiting too long to ask-a 2022 OnePoll survey found that 73% of Americans don't ask for help until they absolutely need it, with half waiting until things become completely overwhelming, and 8% waiting until it's already too late. Yet ironically, we underestimate how willing people are to help. Research out of Stanford finds that people often assume others are less willing to assist-and feel more burdened-than they actually are. Asking for help doesn't make you weak, annoying, or a burden. It makes you human. Honest. Vulnerable. And it builds connection-because at the end of the day, most people don't just want to live their own story. They want to be part of someone else's too. They want to help. So please, hear me when I say this: there is absolutely no shame in asking for help, and especially in starting a campaign on GiveSendGo. It's not surrender. It's faith. It's courage. And it's community in action-an invitation for others to step into a story where God can shine through each and every person. Why Starting a Campaign Could Be the Breath You Need Maybe you've been praying quietly for help-prayers you hardly wanted to pray. Or maybe you see someone else in need but hesitate, afraid crowdfunding might feel like making them a "charity case." Here's what Scripture tells us: "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." - Galatians 6:2 That's what crowdfunding really is: not just raising money, but raising hope. Every campaign is a living reminder that you are not alone. It pulls people together-friends, family, even strangers-into a circle of love, generosity, and prayer. That's what makes fundraising on GiveSendGo different and so special. Would it help to hear from someone who's been there? One of our campaign owners shared this: "This platform is a Godsend! They help you when you're not sure about your campaign at the drop of a hat. They are honest and trustworthy... they do not judge your reasons for using their platform. Instead, they offer prayers and kindness." That's the heartbeat of GiveSendGo-helping people meet needs while sharing hope that reaches deeper than dollars. Sharing Your Story Matters When you start a campaign, your story is the bridge that invites others to care. That's why honesty and transparency matter. Share your "why"-why this need is important, why it matters to you, and why others should come alongside. Not sure how to write it? That's where MICA (My Intelligent Campaign Assistant) can guide you-helping you put words to your story so others can see your heart clearly. And once your campaign is live, don't shrink back. Share it boldly with friends and family. Share it consistently. Share it with confidence. You're not annoying people-you're giving them a chance to be part of something meaningful. What Could You Raise Funds For? There's no limit to what's possible. Campaigns on GiveSendGo have supported needs both big and small, ordinary and extraordinary. You could start one for: Medical bills, treatments, or family emergencies Adoption expenses or childcare costs Mission trips or ministry needs Creative projects or education expenses Community restorations or first responder support Vocational training, legal help, or sports competitions Memorial tributes, grief support, or a plea for justice Whatever is inspiring you or even weighing on your heart-it matters. Click HERE to start a GiveSendGo for a cause that matters to you! So...What About You? What will you be raising funds for? Drop in the comments the "why" behind your cause and share your story-we'd love to hear it! Whether it's for yourself, your family, or someone else in need, saying "yes" to crowdfunding could be the beginning of something extraordinary. On GiveSendGo, your step of faith invites a whole community to stand beside you and say, "You're not alone."
GiveSendGo FeaturesGlobal Week of 24-7 Prayer 2025: Why Prayer Still Changes Everything
Posted by Alex Shipley on Sep 3, 2025
Prayer shouldn't be our last resort. At GiveSendGo, we believe prayer should be our first response. That heartbeat-making prayer central in everything-connects us to the movement currently happening across the globe: the Global Week of 24-7 Prayer. Every year, this worldwide initiative unites millions of believers across nations, languages, and denominations to seek God together, day and night, for a full week of unbroken prayer. It's a reminder that prayer isn't bound by geography or circumstance-it's a global family lifting one another up, trusting that God hears and answers. At GiveSendGo, we treasure this week-and every week of prayer throughout the year-because we know how powerful and pivotal prayer truly is. That's why at every corner of GiveSendGo, you'll find prayer woven into the very fabric of who we are. Prayer at the Heart of GiveSendGo Fundraising and giving might be what first brings people to our platform, but prayer is one of the aspects that truly sets us apart from the others. Here's how prayer shows up across GiveSendGo: Monthly Prayer Hotline - On the first Saturday of each month, anyone can call our hotline and receive prayer from a member of our Hope Team. (Follow us on social media and subscribe to our emails so you don't miss announcements about the next prayer hotline!) Our Hope Team - Faithful members of our team personally call every single campaign on our site just to pray with them. No strings attached-just genuine, heartfelt prayer. The Prayer Wall - A global gathering place where thousands of prayer requests and praise reports are posted, read, and lifted up every single day. The "Pray" Button - On every campaign page, anyone can leave a prayer message, reminding those behind the campaigns you care about that they are seen, supported, and not alone. Prayer isn't a side feature-it's who we are. Because we know prayer changes things-and most of the time, it changes us more than we realize. When Prayer Becomes a Lifeline What happens when prayer shows up unexpectedly in the middle of someone's darkest hour? Here's what some people have told us after receiving Hope Team calls and voicemails: "I just needed to say thank you. You made me cry-hearing your voicemail was absolutely beautiful. Thank you, you beautiful soul." - Amanda G "Hello, I just received a voicemail from June 25th, likely God's timing. You left a prayer and I just wanted to say thank you. I really needed it... It's just my husband, our two kids, and me. No family or real support system. It's been hard. Thank you again for the prayer. There's nothing our God can't do!" - Michelle "You left me a beautiful prayer message the other day. I'm sad I missed your call, but I'm grateful for the voicemail because I can listen to it over and over. Your prayer personally touched me-it was one of the best gifts I've ever received. You're a rockstar. Thank you for making my day and my year." - Anonymous "I just got a wonderful prayer. Today is my birthday, and that meant the world to me. I'm still going through the eviction process, and my six-year-old and I have been out on the street... From the bottom of my heart, thank you for praying for me and thinking of me, especially today, on my birthday." - Anonymous "Last year you left us a prayer on my voicemail. We were going through a trial for the First Amendment, and God prevailed-we were found not liable in a civil suit. God really performed a miracle there. I appreciate your prayers. Praise God, He prevailed." - Steve "I just wanted to tell you thank you very much for caring and having a heart for the Lord, and for encouraging our family while I fight cancer." - Marcy S. "That call was so appreciated and moving. We have a ministry that God's given us, but it's been difficult to get off the ground. It was very encouraging to know you're praying and looking through our campaign to pray specifically. Thank you for pushing the enemy back as we try to build the kingdom and love others. Keep doing what you're doing." - Matt "Although I missed a prayer call, I saved your prayer message and listen to it often... [It] was beautiful. Even now that I feel like we're drowning, your voice gives me peace. Thank you." - Rhoda B. Why Global 24-7 Prayer Matters The Global Week of 24-7 Prayer 2025 isn't just about filling time slots. It's about uniting the Church to remember that prayer is powerful and effective (James 5:16). It's about breaking isolation and lifting burdens together. It's about real people-like the ones above-discovering that God sees them, hears them, and has not abandoned them. And it's about us, collectively, refusing to treat prayer like a backup plan. Instead, we lead with it. We cling to it. We live in it. Join Us in Prayer As the world leans in together for this week of nonstop prayer, we invite you to do the same: Post your requests and praises on our Prayer Wall. Use the "Pray" button on campaigns you care about. Join one of our prayer hotlines. Simply take five minutes to intercede for someone else today. At GiveSendGo, we've seen firsthand how prayer changes lives-sometimes through miracles, sometimes through comfort, sometimes through a simple reminder: you are not alone. This week, let's join the global chorus. Let's make prayer our first response, not our last resort.
GiversHope Heroes: Ordinary People Fundraising Extraordinary Stories of Hope
Posted by Alex Shipley on Aug 29, 2025
Wow-so many of you joined our 60-Day Habit of Hope challenge this summer, taking on daily hope missions and making hope a part of your everyday life. And speaking of hope...we've seen it show up BIG on GiveSendGo these past few months. All summer long, ordinary people have stepped up and started campaigns that embodied hope and generosity-proving that when hope is shared, lives are changed. We're calling them Hope Heroes-and their stories are too good not to share! 1. Supporting Diana Byrnes When a friend saw Diana struggling after years of painful injuries, they stepped in and started a campaign on her behalf-to share hope with her during a very difficult season. Diana has endured chronic pain for years and recently underwent critical spine surgery. The journey to recovery is long and costly, but the support she's receiving is helping cover medical bills, rehabilitation, and in-home care. What could have felt like an isolating battle has instead become a story of community, generosity, and hope. Read More... 2. Help Anisa Bring Hope to Kids Anisa grew up in rural Bangladesh with very little, but from a young age, she had a dream-to share the love of Jesus with children in her community. She's now pursuing that dream by studying children's ministry at Cedarville University in the U.S. Her tuition is covered, but she still needs help with her living expenses while she studies. This campaign is giving her the stability she needs to focus on preparing for the work God has called her to. Someday soon, Anisa will return home equipped to bring hope to countless children who are longing for it. Read More... 3. I'm Ella! Help Me Be a Joyful Giver Ella is only 13, but she already has the kind of vision and generosity many adults aspire to. Living with spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) hasn't stopped her from dreaming big. Her goal? To launch a nonprofit called Joyful Giver that provides practical help to families in need-like groceries, clothing, or baby supplies. This campaign is raising the funds to get her started and give her the tools she needs to bring her vision to life. Ella is proof that no one is too young to make a lasting impact. Read More... 4. Visiting Street Kids with Breakfast & The Gospel For over ten years, this campaign leader has been faithfully visiting street kids-offering them not just food, but love, care, and the truth of the gospel. Many of these children come from heartbreaking situations: most don't live with their mothers, and many don't even know their fathers' names. Their days are spent on the streets, vulnerable to unhealthy influences. Through regular visits with healthy meals, crafts, and Bible lessons, these kids are receiving nourishment for both body and soul. And now, the campaign is expanding-developing a farm project to grow fresh vegetables and raise fish, providing long-term food security for the children they serve. Read More... 5. Hope Challenge - Heartland Ranch Heartland Ranch is on a mission to create a safe, healing refuge for trafficked and abused children. These kids have endured unimaginable pain, but through therapy, education, and the daily love of a stable home, they're finding the courage to rebuild their lives. This campaign is inviting people everywhere to join the mission-showing how even the smallest acts of generosity can contribute to lifelong healing and restoration. Hope is rising in a place where it's needed most. Read More... Here's the best part: You can be a Hope Hero too! Every campaign begins with someone choosing to share hope-and you can do the same. We all know someone who could use a little hope, and your decision to fundraise for them could be the reason their entire story changes. Be a hope hero and start your GiveSendGo NOW! Day 57 - August 26 Create a Hope Video Record a quick 30-second video sharing what "hope" means to you now. Tag @GiveSendGo and use #60DaysOfHope. Your story might be the spark someone else needs. Day 58 - August 27 Go on a Prayer Walk Walk your neighborhood, praying silently (or aloud) over homes, families, and schools. Let every step carry purpose. Day 59 - August 28 Make a Lasting Difference Join the Giver Army at GiverArmy.com and be a part of hope's future. Hope is worth investing in. Day 60 - August 29 Celebrate Hope! Host a small gathering, post a thank-you video, or do something joyful today to mark the end of these 60 days. God has done great things-rejoice in them! "Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him..." -Romans 15:13 What Now? Day 60 isn't the finish line-it's the launchpad. These 60 days were meant to train your eyes to see needs, your heart to respond, and your hands to act. The habit you've started is the foundation for a lifestyle of sharing hope in a world desperate for it. Keep looking for needs you can step into. Keep praying bold prayers for your friends, family, and neighbors. Keep living generously, even when it costs you something. Keep shining the hope of Jesus wherever you go. Because the world doesn't need another "challenge." It needs people willing to live as daily hope-bearers. "The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him." -Psalm 28:7 "Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer." -Romans 12:12 So keep going. Keep living what you've practiced. The seeds you've planted matter. The prayers you've prayed matter. The hope you've shared matters. This isn't the end-it's the beginning of a lifestyle that points the world to the only true source of hope: Jesus.
GiversHow Ordinary People Are Building Extraordinary Legacies of Generosity
Posted by Alex Shipley on Aug 19, 2025
What Will Your Legacy Be? When your story is told one day, what will people say? Will they talk about your career? The places you traveled? The things you owned? Or will they remember the way your life touched theirs and others'-your generosity, your compassion, your faith in action? Because the truth is, every single day you're writing your legacy. And for members of the Giver Army, that legacy is about showing up-being the crowd for the crowdless-through consistent, intentional, faithful generosity that changes lives. From Being Blessed to Being a Blessing It's easy to focus on what we want to receive in life: comfort, stability, answered prayers, success. But what if the deeper question isn't, "How much can I be blessed?"-but instead, "How much can I be a blessing?" That's the question the Giver Army answers month after month. Through their monthly generosity, they're showing up in stories of loss, tragedy, and heartbreak-and turning them into stories of redemption, provision, and hope. Real Stories. Real People. Real Impact. These aren't statistics. They're families. Mothers. Fathers. Children. Neighbors. People just like you-who suddenly found themselves in need of a miracle. The Guidi Family When the Eaton Fire swept through their California neighborhood, the Guidis lost their home and everything in it. A $10,000 Care & Relief Grant helped them secure housing, replace essentials, and begin rebuilding. "We are very moved and absolutely blessed to receive a donation from the Wildfire Relief fund. This means so much to us... We are so thankful to you and to God for providing the light during a very dark time." - Jaime Heather A single mom of three boys, Heather had just moved into a new home but couldn't afford renovations while still covering groceries and bills. A $3,000 Giver Army Grant allowed her to purchase much of what her family needed to thrive. "This grant allowed me to provide what my boys needed to feel safe and at home. I can't thank you enough for stepping in when I didn't know what else to do." - Heather Lisa Blackburn At 69, Lisa, a retired librarian and cherished member of the Altadena community, lost her home and all of her possessions in a wildfire. A $10,000 Care & Relief Grant gave her stability and the resources to start rebuilding her life. "At 69, my sister Lisa had everything she'd ever produced, collected or cherished... be reduced to ashes... This $10,000 Care & Relief Grant... has shocked and humbled us both... You have seen Lisa and found her worthy of this love... Lisa is suddenly the wealthiest person I know." - Joy Blackburn, Lisa's sister Marc & Marylin After retiring, Marc and Marylin lost their Altadena home-a place filled with family memories-to devastating wildfires. A $10,000 Care & Relief Grant gave them temporary housing and the support to begin rebuilding. "We are overwhelmed with gratitude for your generous gift to us. Losing our home that brought us so much family joy is something we didn't expect after recently retiring. We are humbled by the outpouring of love that has been given to us. May God continue to bless you and everyone that has supported us during this difficult time." - Marc and Marylin Chimney Rock Village On September 27, 2024, Hurricane Helene caused catastrophic damage to to Chimney Rock Village, destroying many homes and businesses. A $5,000 Care & Relief Grant directly supported the community's rebuilding initiatives. "On behalf of Chimney Rock Village, thank you for supporting our disaster relief fund... Although the recovery will be long and extensive, the Village is making significant progress with plans to rebuild. The Disaster Relief Fund is being used to directly provide grants to residents and business owners for essential needs." Dr. Sarah M. A beloved Malibu doctor, Sarah lost both her home and her practice in the LA wildfires. A $10,000 Giver Army Grant gave her the stability to start over-housing, her practice, and her life. "Your support has meant more than I can put into words fully!!! - not only in helping me navigate the challenges of rebuilding after such an unexpected disaster, but also in reminding me that even in the hardest moments, kindness and generosity shine through-it has reaffirmed my faith in the goodness of people and the power of community." - Sarah These are the kinds of stories your generosity writes into existence. "Be the Crowd for the Crowdless" Barbara, a Giver Army member, puts it this way: "God has blessed me richly with so many things, and when I see the projects on GiveSendGo, it just compels me to support people who are doing things for the Kingdom that I can't do myself... Be aware of how much you are blessed and bless others." That's the heartbeat of the Giver Army. Ordinary people stepping into extraordinary opportunities. People being the crowd for the crowdless. How Do I Join the Giver Army? By giving as little as $5/month to a GiveSendGo Charities cause, you'll step into stories like these-where hope felt lost and your thoughtful generosity will say, "You're not alone." And one day, when your story is told, people will remember not just what you had, but what you gave. The lives you touched. The hope you shared time and time again. So the question is: What kind of story will you be known for? Join the Giver Army and Build Your Legacy of Generosity A Month at a Time!
