A Little Help Before My Firstborn Arrives

I’m asking for a little help during a difficult time for my family. My 2008 Lincoln Navigator recently broke down and completely shut off while I was on the interstate. I had to have it towed by Able Towing, and it is going to cost about $450 just to get the vehicle released. I still need to have it taken to a repair shop to figure out exactly why it shut off, and unfortunately, this happened while I was already in the middle of trying to make several major repairs.

I had already purchased the front suspension parts and was planning to buy the correct-size rim and tire and have the vehicle aligned this Friday. After that, my next priorities were getting the front-end repairs completed and fixing the A/C and heat. With my newborn on the way, having reliable transportation is extremely important to me. I also use this vehicle to help pick up and drop off my mother and grandmother whenever they need me, so getting it back on the road isn’t just about convenience—it affects my ability to take care of the people who depend on me.

I don’t have a strong support system or the financial resources to handle everything at once, and having the vehicle break down unexpectedly has put me in an even harder position. I’m doing everything I can on my end, but I could really use some help getting through this. Any amount, no matter how small, would mean a lot to me and my family.
