🌟💔 MY name is Katie Quintas, and I run the nonprofit Here to Serve (www.heretoserve.org). We help families with children battling cancer in the home, where more than 60% of the cancer journey happens, yet support is rarely available...that is until we launched Here to Serve in 2011. We set up this GiveSendGo crowdfunding campaign as part of our services. All donations go directly to the Goliday family, not Here to Serve.  Below is the story of Zayleigh as told by her mom, Kimberly.

As I sat by Zayleigh's bedside in that cold, sterile hospital room, every beat of her tiny heart felt like a battle cry against the invisible enemy. It was April last year when she first got sick, and what started as a fever turned into something much more terrifying than any parent should ever have to face. 📅

Zayleigh's ALL cancer journey has been nothing short of miraculous since first diagnosed in April 2025, but it hasn’t come without challenges, including a bout with sepsis where she almost died. It stretches our limits every day. Being thrust into the world of childhood cancer was like entering an entirely different universe—one where statistics and treatments take precedence over playdates and bedtime stories. 😔

The cost? Beyond what words can express. From medical bills to travel expenses, each dollar spent feels like a lifeline thrown across the chasm between hope and despair. 💸

But here’s the thing about Zayleigh—she has this incredible spirit that refuses to be silenced by even the fiercest of battles. And it's her resilience, as much as our collective need for more time with her, that fuels us forward in these trying times. 🙏
