Talking chihuahua needs life saving surgery.

Max was rescued weighing 2 kgs. He is 3 kgs after 6 weeks of special diet and several medication changes. He gets meds for his liver and as well to shrink the stone lodged in the bile duct of his gallbladder. It took 3 weeks of tests until an ultrasound revealed that is why he can't gain weight, and always feels hungry! 3 weeks more trying to shrink the stone with medication. During all this time he was being fed always solely chicken every 4 hours for its protein. He cannot absorb fats. The food was going right through him, causing him to be a great deal of work with feeding and cleaning up after him. He had some wonderful caretakers! Today he underwent surgery by a specialist to remove the stone. The vet is also doing a biopsy to determine if there are any other issues with his liver. I'm waiting for a progress report they promised me. I will pick him up tomorrow after he spends tonight at the veterinarian hospital. Please pray for a quick recovery for the little guy!
