Support Kim Hamilton Through Stage IV Cancer

On June 29, 2026, Kimberly “Kim” Hamilton received the devastating news that she had Stage IV invasive ductal breast cancer in her right breast. Her cancer is estrogen-receptor positive and HER2 positive, and it has metastasized to her lymph nodes and lungs. 

Kim is currently receiving Enhertu through an infusion port as she continues treatment for metastatic breast cancer. Her care has already included biopsies, imaging scans, heart monitoring, bloodwork, and medications to help manage the side effects of treatment. 

Despite everything she is facing, Kim continues to work when she is physically able. Unfortunately, the effects of treatment can sometimes become overwhelming. The first week after treatment can be especially difficult, with sickness and limited mobility making it hard for her to work and keep up with everyday responsibilities. 

Kim is a wife and mother of three, and her family means everything to her.

Her son, Kimerious, is a college student at Alabama A&M University and a member of the university’s Gospel Choir. Kim and her family continue to help with his college expenses.

Her daughters, Traya and Kori’el, are also involved in activities that are important to them. Upcoming expenses include Kori’el’s basketball, band and choir fees, along with Kim’s ongoing cancer-treatment copays

Why We Are Asking for Help

Cancer doesn’t stop the rest of life’s expenses.

While Kim is fighting for her health, her family still has household expenses, medical copays, college expenses and the everyday costs of raising her children. When treatment makes it difficult for Kim to work, that financial pressure becomes even harder.
