Rebuilding After Flood in Indiana

I never thought I'd find myself in this position again.

On August 12, 2026, our community was hit by a devastating and unprecedented flood. My house is severely flooded. I was in the process of moving to an apartment, but all of our belongings that I had not yet been moved out were completely destroyed. The water was so forceful that it flipped my refrigerator onto its back and my washing machine onto its side. We lost all of the food that we had. And the appliances as well.

What makes this so difficult is that this is not the first time I've had to rebuild. On October 28, 2023, I lost my home in a devastating house fire. I've been rebuilding for years, and I finally thought I was getting back on my feet when another disaster happened.

I'm asking for help, not because asking is easy, but because sometimes life brings circumstances that we simply cannot handle alone. Your support would mean so much as I work to recover from this flood and rebuild once more.
