Help Me Find a Safe Place to Call Home ❤️

Hi everyone. My name is Cerina, and I'm reaching out because I'm trying to do something that I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help with.

I've spent a little over 10 years experiencing homelessness and struggling to find a stable, safe place to call home. I've made it through a lot of difficult situations, but right now I'm at a point where I desperately need a way forward.

The place where I'm currently staying is no longer somewhere I should remain, and unfortunately, I don't have another place waiting for me to go. The thought of ending up back on the streets is frightening, especially with how extremely hot the weather has been here in Banning, California.

I recently found an RV for sale that I'm very interested in. It's in really good condition, and I'm hoping that, with enough help, I can purchase it and finally have a safe place of my own.

For me, this wouldn't be a luxury or a vacation RV. It would be a home.

It would give me somewhere safe to sleep, somewhere I can stay cool when the temperatures become unbearable, and most importantly, somewhere I can begin rebuilding my life instead of constantly worrying about where I'm going to sleep next.

But there's another very important reason why having a safe place means so much to me.

I recently welcomed a new puppy into my life, and his story breaks my heart.He came from a horrible situation. From what I've seen, I'm almost certain he experienced abuse. He has scars all over his body and wounds that are still healing. I was told that his previous owners wanted to have him put down.

He had spent his life as an outside backyard dog, seemingly forgotten and ignored. When I first got him, he didn't even have a name. I gave him a name...—Bruno. And now he knows it. When I call his name, he comes running. When I tell him I love him, he knows I'm talking to him. He's such a sweetheart, and he's incredibly smart.”

I'm not asking anyone to give what they don't have. I'm just hoping that, together, enough people might be willing to help me create a little bit of stability after so many years without it.

If I can reach this goal, I won't just be buying an RV.

I'll be buying myself and my puppy a chance to finally have a safe place to call home.

A place where two souls who have both experienced difficult times can finally have some peace.
