O'Quin Family Adoption

Our boys came to live with us in 2017 when we were assigned as their foster parents. The end of 2019 found Eric and I suing for custody to keep the boys with us. The court appointed us as their Conservators, but because of an issue in CPS's case they refused to terminate parental rights.

At the end of 2025 situations arose where the court order is no longer safe for the boys to follow. The only way to change the order is to return to court. Because of us being assigned as their Conservators, CPS and their adoption waiver will not cover the legal costs. We have been quoted around $10,000 for the costs.
