No Soldier Gets Left Behind: Help Trevor Stevens

I’ve never done a fundraiser on social media before, but this time is different.

I was Trevor Stevens’ platoon leader in Iraq. That deployment changed all of us. Trevor was there with me on the most traumatic days of our lives. 

I think about all of Soldiers we lost often. I think about their families. And I think about the soldiers who came home carrying the weight of those days with them. Trevor is one of them, and he needs our help. 

Trevor is a disabled combat veteran who served our country through multiple deployments. Like many veterans who return from war, he has carried the invisible wounds of his service, including severe complex PTSD that he has fought for years to manage.

In July 2026, Trevor experienced a profound mental health crisis and is now facing criminal charges related to that crisis. He has been held in the Williamson County Jail, while we work tirelessly to help him access the court-ordered intensive inpatient treatment he desperately needs.

This has been a painful and defeating chapter for the Stevens family, but they remain hopeful for Trevor's future. So do I. The path forward for Trevor is treatment, recovery, and people who refuse to walk away from him.

Your donation will support Trevor's legal defense, a bond with conditions that support meaningful treatment, future legal and treatment expenses, and efforts to have his case heard in Veterans Treatment Court. All funds will be managed by his family and used in accordance with the fundraiser’s stated purpose.
