To know Uncle Kelly is to know adventure. Whether he’s leading the room in karaoke or challenging us to think deeper and stand taller, he has been a father figure, a mentor, and a great role model. He has spent his life showing up for all of us. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

In February 2026, Kelly was diagnosed with Stage 4 tonsil and tongue cancer, which had spread to the lymph nodes in his neck. It has been a whirlwind of doctor visits, scans, and tough conversations. While the road ahead is challenging, Kelly is facing it with the same grit and humor he’s always had. He will soon begin 6.5 weeks of treatment, including 33 radiation sessions as well as weekly chemotherapy.

Our goal is to raise $25,000 to provide him with the best possible care for a full recovery by combining traditional care and alternative therapies. Every dollar goes directly toward Kelly’s medical fund to assist with high deductibles, co-pays, and co-insurance, as well as holistic cancer protocols.

Through it all, Kelly has kept a positive attitude, trusting that God is guiding him. His faith has grown, and he finds comfort knowing he is in God's hands. Kimberly has also been resting in God's peace as they face this together. Their children—Christopher (Ana), Caitlin, and Michael—along with their siblings, extended family, and friends, have been a tremendous source of strength and support.

Hearing this news has been difficult, but we are leaning into our faith and the knowledge that God is the Great Healer. We are asking our community to join us in Kelly’s corner.
