Hello Neighbor!

I hope you’re doing well. I know we all have a lot going on, but I’m reaching out with a special request on behalf of a wonderful young family in our neighborhood.

Jesse and Eli Haslam have been blessed with six little boys! They’re currently renting a basement apartment and doing their very best to raise their precious boys in a loving and happy home.

Many neighbors have already surrounded their family with friendship, meals, babysitting, and other acts of kindness. That kind of neighborliness is inspiring and is one of the things that makes our neighborhood so special.

As any parent knows, the days and nights can feel so long when our children are little—but they grow quickly! Very soon, these six boys will need more room to grow, and this family will need a larger place to call home. Eli works full-time to provide for them, but today’s real estate market has put homeownership—or even renting a larger home—out of reach for a growing family like theirs that truly needs more space.

Will you give some thought and prayer to how you might be able to help?

Perhaps you know of a home in the area that could be a good fit for their family. Maybe you would be willing to contribute toward a down payment fund. Or perhaps the best thing you can offer right now is your prayers on their behalf. Every bit of help and support matters.
