Helping my family in need..

Hi everyone. I'm Madeline, neice of Matt and Jeanne. On July 3rd My Uncle Matt was sent to Methodist hospital from an emergency room visit to undergo emergency gallbladder surgery. What should have been a 20-30 minute surgery took 2.5 hours. He ended up with a drainage tube. The surgeon told my Aunt Jeanne that it is the worse gallbladder surgery he has seen in a long time.This should have been an 8 week maximum recovery. Matt has experienced several medical issues since the day of surgery. Although the recovery of the surgery went ok he has lost a lot of function on his dominant left side. Absolutely can not drive He can not walk without being very unsteady, has been going to physical therapy with no success as of now. He has been to the neurologist for tests for things like vertigo which the doctor has pretty much ruled out. He just had an MRI that they had to basically fight to get. They are waiting for results on that. They are fearing a possible stroke/strokes which hasn't been confirmed until the MRI results come back. His BP is triple digits both top/bottom numbers and pulse isn't below 90 even while sitting doing nothing. He can not work at all. Goes in for a very routine surgery and prior to was working a full time job and living daily life and active...to a very different reality today. His insurance is covering SOME of the bills although the short term disability is not even close to what a person would make weekly. Regardless of what he has pays out for it!! Sad. They are left with zero answers for 4 months now. They have exhausted all means of savings.
