My husband is one of the hardest-working people I know. As a husband and father of five daughters, he has always done everything he can to provide for our family and give our girls the best life possible. He works hard, puts his family first, and rarely asks anyone for help.

For as long as I can remember, one of his biggest dreams has been to someday own his own business. He has always wanted the opportunity to build something of his own—something he could pour his hard work into, grow over time, and eventually turn into something that could provide more stability and opportunities for our family.

Over the years, he has prayed for an opportunity to come along. He has prayed for something that could help increase our family's income and give him the chance to build something bigger and better for our future.

Then, unexpectedly, that opportunity came.

An already-established and successful trading card business became available for purchase, and it seemed like the opportunity we had been praying for. When my husband found out about it, he was over the moon excited. For him, this wasn't simply about buying a business. It was the possibility of finally making a lifelong dream come true.

The business is already established, has an existing customer base, and has built a name for itself. Instead of starting completely from scratch, my husband would have the opportunity to take something that is already successful and work hard to grow it even further.

We truly believed this could be the beginning of something amazing for our family.

We started looking into financing, and at first, we felt very hopeful. The loan representative we were speaking with made it sound like my husband had a really good chance of getting the financing he needed. We began allowing ourselves to get excited and started imagining what the future could look like.

Then we received the news that the loan wasn't going to happen.

The reason? We would be renting the building where the business operates rather than owning the property.

The difficult part is that this wasn't something that suddenly changed. The fact that the building would be rented was known from the beginning, but after going through the process, we were ultimately told that this prevented us from getting the financing we needed.

It was heartbreaking.

My husband has worked so hard for our family, and this opportunity felt like the answer to so many of the prayers we've had for our future. We don't want to give up simply because traditional financing isn't available to us.

At this point, our biggest challenge is coming up with enough money for the down payment to make the purchase possible.

That's why we're asking for help.

We are hoping to raise $150000.00 toward the down payment needed to purchase this established trading card business.

We know that asking for financial help is a big thing, and we don't take it lightly. We also know that not everyone is in a position to donate, and we completely understand that.

If you are able to contribute, whether it's $5, $20, $50, $100, or whatever you can comfortably give, it would mean more to our family than we can put into words.

And if you can't donate, sharing our fundraiser is just as meaningful to us. Even one share could put our story in front of someone who may be able to help.

We're not asking people to fund a vague dream. We're trying to raise the funds needed to take ownership of a business that is already established and successful. My husband is ready to put in the work, just as he has always done for our family.

His dream isn't about getting rich or taking an easy road. It's about having something of his own, creating another source of income for our family, and building something that our five daughters can one day look back on and say, “Our dad built that.”

After years of working hard and praying for an opportunity, we finally feel like the door has opened. We just need a little help getting through it.
