Help Us Stay in Our Home

I never imagined I would be in a position where I would have to ask others for help just to keep a roof over my family’s head.

I am currently facing a serious financial crisis and am at risk of losing my home. I have fallen behind on rent for August and September, and additional legal fees have made it even harder for me to catch up. I now have a court date on September 21, 2026, and I am doing everything possible to find help before then.

I have contacted several agencies for rental assistance, but some have no available funds, while others require long application processes that may not be completed before my court date. The closer that date gets, the more frightening this situation becomes.

I am a mother and small business owner, and I have always tried to work hard and take care of my responsibilities. Unfortunately, my business has experienced a serious decline in customers, leaving me with very little income at a time when I need it most.

My biggest concern is my 17-year-old son. He has enrolled in the United States Marines and is expected to leave for boot camp after graduating from high school. I am so proud of him, but I do not want him entering this important chapter of his life worrying about whether his mother will lose her home.

Asking for help is very difficult for me, but I am running out of options and time.
