Help Us Get Off the Road and Find Stability

I went over the road in a semi after we gave up our rental house to save money toward buying our own home. I entered into a lease-purchase truck program believing it would give us a real opportunity to work toward owning the truck while making enough to support ourselves. Unfortunately, the reality has been very different. I feel like we were misled and taken advantage of by the program, and the costs and deductions have made it extremely difficult to make enough money to live. Rising fuel costs have only made the situation worse.

Right now, our immediate needs are food and paying our phone bill so I can continue looking for other employment and keep running loads while we work toward getting off this truck. Without a phone, I can't stay connected with potential employers, family, or the work that is currently keeping us going.

We need to buy a small 2-person camper with a shower, toilet, and kitchen so we can find normal jobs again and get off this truck. A camper would give us a stable place to live while we rebuild and continue working toward the home we're trying to buy.

This isn't where we expected to be. We gave up our home and made what we believed was a sacrifice that would eventually put us in a better position. Instead, we're struggling just to cover basic necessities and find a way forward.
