Help the Malankara Orthodox Church reach Tripura

We are raising money to help Elim Sam, his wife and 3 year-old daughter to travel to meet with H.G. Alexios Mar Eusebius, the Metropolitan of Kolkata, for a face-to-face encounter about bringing the Malankara Orthodox Church to Tripura.

Elim lives with his family in a village in Tripura, NE India. He holds a BD (Bachelor of Divinity) and is part of a protestant fellowship. He wants to become Orthodox and has waited for 6 years to join the Church. He hopes to bring his people with him. His dream is to become a missionary priest, bringing Orthodoxy to the North east of India. His people are currently Protestant Christians.

The Bishop has agreed to meet with him. This first meeting is a crucial step in making this vision a reality. Elim will be petitioning on behalf of his entire people, who currently do not have access to the sacraments.

The funds will cover travel expenses for Elim, his wife, and their daughter, including hotel costs, food, and a contingency fund for the journey.
