Help Our Family Through a Season of Healing

In August, my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 thymoma cancer. Since his diagnosis, he has had to stop working so he can focus on fighting this disease and undergoing chemotherapy and radiation treatments. This has left me as the sole provider for our family during an incredibly difficult season.

Unfortunately, while I was out of work due to mechanical issues with my work truck, I developed severe sciatica that has left me struggling with debilitating pain and unable to work while I recover. With both of us unable to earn an income right now, keeping up with our household bills, food, and medical insurance has become an overwhelming challenge.

We are humbly asking for help raising $25,000 to cover 6 months of essential living expenses, including bills, groceries, and medical insurance, and medical bills as well as gas for transportation to and from chemo and radiation, giving us time for my husband to continue his treatments and for me to focus on healing and getting back on my feet.

Through all of this, our faith in God remains strong. We believe He provides, even when we cannot see how things will work out. I trust in His plan for our lives, even if that plan leads us through losing everything we have. Our circumstances may be uncertain, but our faith is not. We are holding on to hope, taking things one day at a time, and trusting God to carry us through this storm.

Asking for help isn't easy, but sometimes life brings us to a place where we must humble ourselves and allow others to be a blessing to us.
