Help Kiprian Kuzmin and Family through Tragedy

Dear family and friends, 

My husband, Kiprian Kuzmin, suffered a traumatic accident involving a commercial log splitter that crushed and broke his ankle, tore off all his toes, and amputated nearly half his foot. 

He was conscious as the machine mangled his foot, enduring tramatic pain before managing to stop it from destroying his entire foot. He was left with an open wound and severe bleeding. It took 20 minutes for the paramedics to arrive and another 2 hours to reach the hospital in Fairbanks. 

He remains hospitalized, facing pain, surgery, and a long, uncertain recovery.

Kiprian has always worked hard to take care of us. He is a loving husband and father. We relied on his sole income to pay for our upcoming bills and expenses every month. 

I am also expecting our second baby in November. I find myself worried about my husband’s recovery and finances. Especially on how we will manage everything while caring for our 1 year old, Solomonia and our newborn in November.

With Kiprian unable to work, our family has no income. We need help with the bills and expenses that continue to come. We also need help on daily living expenses such as: diapers, wipes, food, clothes, heating fuel, utilities, and gas to buy necessities, travel to Fairbanks for Kiprian’s follow-up appointments, and therapy.
