Help Keep Maribelle Safe During Her Cancer Recover

For nearly two years, my mother, Maribelle has been fighting throat cancer with everything she has left. What began as a single surgery turned into a long, painful journey filled with complications, infections, emergency hospital stays and procedures that changed her life forever.

Cancer took her voice.

It took her independence.

It took her ability to work.

Today she struggles just to breathe, swallow, and move. She relies on a trach and full‑time care every single day. Her healing depends on having a stable home, a safe environment and the support she cannot provide for herself.

As her son, I am creating this fundraiser because she has no access to a bank account due to unpaid medical balances from her surgery last February. Everything she needs every appointment, every supply, every ride to the doctor comes directly from us. And we simply cannot do it alone anymore.

Our biggest fear right now is losing our home.

We are behind on rent and eviction would put her life at risk.

She cannot recover if she is displaced or without a safe place to stay.

This fundraiser is to help keep her housed, pay the overdue rent, and continue her healing journey without interruption. Every dollar helps protect her from eviction and gives her the stability she needs to keep fighting.

We are starting from zero.

We are not setting a specific goal.
