Daniel is 32 years old and lives in the Czech Republic. We have been friends for three years now, and over this time, it has been heartbreaking to watch his health decline while he struggles to survive every single day. I have created this fundraiser to give him a chance at relief and stability.

​He lives with a painful and overwhelming combination of severe chronic conditions, including:

1. Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)
2. ​Multiple forms of Tinnitus & Hyperacusis (constant ear ringing and severe sound sensitivity)
3. Chronic spinal issues, tachycardia, & severe physical pain
4. Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS)
5. Symptoms of epilepsy, allergic rhinitis, & hyperhidrosis

​Because of how debilitating his condition is, he is completely unable to work. He relies entirely on a minimal government disability pension, but it is nowhere near enough to cover basic living costs, let alone his prescriptions and necessary medical check-ups. Without any family financial support to fall back on, he has been forced to accumulate debt over time just to keep up with essential daily needs.

​To make his health struggles even worse, his current living situation creates severe daily stress. The apartment is plagued by mold, which constantly triggers his health issues, and poor sound isolation in the ceilings means every noise from neighbours carries straight through. For someone living with severe tinnitus and hyperacusis, noise is not just an inconvenience as it causes severe physical pain and mental exhaustion.

Waking up every day in physical distress, surrounded by environmental triggers, and worrying about how to pay off debt or afford medicine is a heavy burden to carry alone.

​Despite everything he endures, Daniel is a genuinely good, honest person who lives a quiet life and never brings harm to anyone. He truly deserves peace, safety, and a chance to get his health back on track.
