My name is Brittany, and I am a single mother of two beautiful children—my 8-year-old and my newborn. I am also a full-time college student working hard to build a better and more stable future for my family.

Right now, I am going through one of the hardest seasons of my life. Since having my baby, I have been struggling emotionally with postpartum depression while also trying to take care of my children, stay in school, and keep up with our basic living expenses.

I don’t have family support to fall back on, so I am doing my best to handle everything on my own. Unfortunately, my financial situation has become overwhelming. I am trying to keep up with rent, the electric bill, food, baby necessities, and other household expenses. I am also in need of reliable transportation so that I can get my children where they need to go, handle appointments, attend school-related responsibilities, and eventually find better employment opportunities.

Asking for help is not easy for me. I have always wanted to be able to provide for my children on my own, but right now I truly need support to get through this difficult period.

Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much to my family. Donations will go toward keeping our housing and utilities current, food and necessities for my children, transportation, and helping me get back on stable ground.
