Eric Titues is a college-going student, a great young man, and a family-oriented person. From what I have personally known and witnessed, he has never been someone who was a threat to others or someone looking for trouble.

OUTSIDERS DON’T KNOW HIS STORY.

Hello, my name is Erica Titues. There have been a lot of speculations that I am Eric Titues’s mother, but I am actually his aunt. I have been a major part of Eric’s life, and because of the time I’ve spent with him and my nieces and nephews, I have personally seen and heard about experiences that I believe are important to understanding what happened.

I witnessed accounts of abuse and traumatic situations involving the deceased. From what I personally witnessed, I believe my nephew was also a victim of trauma and abuse.

There were times when we struggled to know where he was, what school he was attending, or how to reach him. When we were finally able to get him away from that environment, I saw a sense of freedom and relief in him.

I am speaking because his story deserves to be heard.
