Del Somerville and his 2 sons PORTSMOUTH PROTEST

With the agreement of Del Somerville and Harry (his son) we have set up a fundraiser to help the family cover rent and expenses for Del's two sons who have been left fatherless as he was unjustly sentenced to 2 years in prison for throwing a plastic bottle and swearing at Police during the recent protest in Portsmouth against illegal migration.

Del's two sons (Harry 19yo and Jack 22yo) have been raised without their mother since an early age and their dad is everything to them, he's been taken away for 2 years without any consideration on how this affects these 2 young men, they're kids really in this day and age.

Del worked as an excavator operator and Harry works as a labourer on the same building sites, Harry has aspirations of joining the Royal Navy, Del drove Harry to work every day and to say that these 2 boys have been left devastated is a huge understatement. Del gave a guilty plea hoping for a suspended sentence and not to be taken away from his boys, instead the judge openly declared him as a detterent and an example for future protestors and sent him down initially for 3 years!! only reduced to 2 because of his early guilty plea. Without their father's influence and help they will struggle to pay the rent, get to work and live their lives as best as they can.

We can help, WE CAN MAKE THEIR LIVES BETTER, THEY DID NOT DESERVE THIS. This Labour governement is willing to destroy lives to pursue their political agenda on illegal migration. Let's show Del and his 2 young lads that, we, the British Public are not blind to what is happening and will support our own. Please share this page and if able, donate whatever you can spare to help Del's sons during the absence of their only role model and parent, and towards making Del's time inside less stressful, if that's possible. A man who raises 2 boys single handedly needs our help. He shares the same beliefs as we do.

Del has asked us not to share his prison number however from this fund raiser money would be sent to his prison account to help him behind bars.

If we are able to raise enough, we will liaise with Portsmouth City Council to pay Del's and the boys rent up for the 2 years of Del's sentence, it's a huge ask from the British public but one I believe can be acheived. This country is currently being abused by the government and by illegal migration, let's not allow it to abuse Del and the boys. Thank you.

All funds will be used soley to improve Del and his sons lives, starting with the rent. Any progress and spent funds will be published and made known via social media.

All funds will be directed by Harry using ONLY Harry's bank account, Del in aware and thanks anyone who can help in advance.

Harry got a call from his father yesterday from prison (Sat 26th Sep'26) and this is being done at his request with the boys permission.

Please note this fund raiser is the only one that Del and his sons have created and has been created by them directly with the help of family friend Michael Middleton.
