Can You Help Dr Sam?

Dr Samantha Bailey, mother of three boys, author, health educator and former practicing medical doctor for 15 years, now faces NZ$250,000 (US$140,000) in “costs” and fines issued by the New Zealand medical authorities. All for telling the truth.

Background

In early 2020, Dr Sam was one of the first doctors in the world to identify something dreadfully wrong with the COVID narrative. So in March that year she began countering the enormous amount of fear propaganda being promulgated by governments and the corporate media. 

Her background in clinical trials, family medicine, and as a popular presenter for a network TV health show, inspired her to publish weekly videos addressing issues such as lockdowns, PCR tests, face masks and the impending vaccines. The public response was overwhelming with millions of views and regular 97-99% approval ratings.

Persecution

However, the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ), an agency linked to the Federation of State Medical Boards, disapproved of Dr Sam’s public popularity and attempted to shut her down. In September 2020, they requested that she sign a ‘Voluntary Undertaking’, effectively a gag order, to prevent her from talking about COVID-19 and related issues. Dr Sam refused the “offer” and continued publishing her research exposing the fraudulent aspects of the COVID narrative and the related vaccines. 

As a result and despite no complaints from Dr Sam’s patients, the MCNZ decided to pursue multiple prosecutions against her. It was an unprecedented attack on both free speech and medical science.

A subsequent kangaroo court held in 2023 was a farce and Dr Sam had no part in the proceedings. She was charged with “public harm”, even though no harmed person could be found. She was also charged with “COVID-19”, whatever that is supposed to mean! Despite such a frivolous spectacle, the MCNZ was awarded almost NZ$159,000.

Dr Sam was also publicly “struck off” in 2024 even though she had left medical practice three years earlier and had asked to be removed from the medical register. Unbeknownst to her, the Medical Council had kept her on the register in order to arrange a further prosecution for some of her 2022 publications.

This included a presentation of an HIV/AIDS series that was written by other authors in 1999 - a time when Sam was a 16-year-old high school student. Yet, in another completely perverse process, the kangaroo court awarded the vindictive Medical Council a further NZ$87,705.77.

These kinds of fines against health publications are unprecedented in New Zealand. It indicates the desperate attempts that the medical authorities have made to silence Dr Sam and use her as an example to terrify other potential whistle-blower doctors.
