Bringing Sophie Home, Fight for Parental Rights

My wife Arlene and I, with our son Walter, are fighting to bring our beloved daughter Sophie home, whole and safe. We are a devout Catholic family who formed her moral conscience and raised her in our faith. Massachusetts seeks to give her testosterone. The state has no right to her medical care; that belongs to her parents. Our First Amendment right to raise our child according to our religion has been denied from the start.

With legal counsel, especially Vernadette Broyles, we are battling in court. Our legal bills already total $150,000, and we need another $100,000 to finish this fight. We are also working to change the laws so thousands of other families never suffer as we have.

If Sophie returns home, she will need loving help and significant support for her education as she works toward being able to support herself one day.
