Bridging the Gap ❤️

Update #3 – August 25th❤️

Abba Has PROVIDED! 🙌🏻❤️

I honestly don't even know where to begin except with PRAISE YAH!!

When I shared my need earlier this month, I was staring at August expenses and genuinely didn't know how everything was going to come together.

But YHWH did 🙌🏻

Through friends who gave, prayed, shared, encouraged me, supported Holy Fringes, placed custom orders, and simply showed up in ways big and small, every one of my essential August expenses is covered—rent, car payment, car insurance, groceries, and gas.

AND... September 1st rent is already covered too 😭🙌🏻

Y'all!!! I cannot adequately express how grateful I am.

I've also been doing everything I can on my end. The recent Holy Fringes claim sale was an incredible blessing, custom orders have continued to come in, and I've had steady side-hustle work for the past couple of weeks. I'm stretching every dollar, keeping expenses as lean as possible, and continuing to take the next step in front of me while trusting YHWH with the ones I can't see yet.

I'm not completely on the other side of this season, though, so I still have some needs and would greatly appreciate your continued prayers and support as we enter September.

Some credit-line bills I've had to put on the back burner are approaching 30 days past due, my annual phone plan of approximately $320 comes due September 20th, and there are the normal September necessities like car insurance, groceries, and gas.

The other big piece still hanging over me is the approximately $1,500 repayment related to my disability claim. I should be able to establish a payment arrangement, but right now there simply isn't room in my very lean budget to absorb another monthly payment. I'm continuing to pray for favor regarding the disability decision and that this burden will ultimately be reduced.

So yes, there are still some mountains ahead.

But LOOK at what YHWH has already done 🥹❤️

A month ago, I didn't know how I was going to cover August. Today, August essentials are paid, September rent is covered, Holy Fringes orders are flowing, and I've been blessed with steady side work.

That is provision. That is my God!

To every person who has donated, bought tzitzit, shared my fundraiser or Holy Fringes, sent me an encouraging message, prayed for me, checked on me, or quietly stood beside me through this season: THANK YOU.

I mean that more deeply than I know how to put into words. You have helped carry me through a season when I simply couldn't carry everything myself, and I will not forget it.

If Abba puts it on your heart to continue helping as I work toward getting fully back on my feet, the GiveSendGo remains open. Sharing it continues to be an enormous blessing too.

For those who have asked, Venmo is @DanaGayer (last four: 6758) 💚

And please keep praying, for continued provision, wisdom for each next step, favor with the disability appeal and repayment, and that I would continue following wherever YHWH leads.

There are still unknowns ahead, but I've watched Him provide too many times this month to believe He's going to stop now.

One step at a time. One need at a time. And a whole lot of faith. ❤️

Shalom Friends!

Update #2 – August 16th❤️

First, praise YHWH!! Since I shared my last update, approximately $350–$400 has come in through the fundraiser and other gifts, and I cannot adequately express what a blessing that has been. Every single gift has helped, and I've watched the Father provide as I continue taking steps forward, trusting Him to provide as I humbly ask for your prayers and support. Thank you Thank you! I am truly grateful 🫶🏻

I've been doing everything I can to make what I have stretch, living largely from my pantry, keeping grocery spending to the bare necessities, selling quite a few of my handmade tassels from existing inventory at Holy Fringes, and slowly picking up some part-time/gig work where I can.

As we reach the middle of the month, I'm still about $300 short of what I need to cover the remaining essentials for August, including a little breathing room for gas and groceries. That's not including other bills or debts that I've intentionally put on the back burner while I focus on keeping the necessities covered.

If Abba puts it on your heart to help me close that gap, I would be incredibly grateful. And if you're unable to give, please consider sharing the fundraiser, those shares really do matter and may help it reach someone YHWH intends to see it.

I also have a big prayer request regarding my disability claim. I'm still waiting for everything to be finalized, but I'm currently facing a potential repayment of approximately $1,500 if the present determination stands. I'm praying hard for favor in the appeal process and that the decision - and ultimately that financial burden - will be changed.

There are still a lot of unknowns, and it's going to take a little time to get everything flowing again. But there has also been a whole lot of provision ❤️ I'm choosing to focus on the blessings, keep doing what I can, and trusting YHWH with the things I cannot control.

Thank you for praying, sharing, giving, encouraging me, purchasing handmade Holy Fringes, and simply walking alongside me through this season. You ARE making a difference, and I am incredibly grateful. ❤️

Update #1 – August 1st

As we enter August, I wanted to thank everyone who has prayed, shared, and supported me during this difficult season. Your kindness has been such an encouragement.

I'm still actively seeking YHWH to open the right door. Unfortunately, my financial need hasn't changed, so I'm humbly asking for continued prayers, shares, and support as I continue walking through this season.

Thank you for standing with me. Every prayer, share, and gift truly makes a difference. ❤️

Original Post:

If you know me personally, you know asking for help doesn't come naturally to me. I'd much rather be the one helping someone else. But after some prayer, I've realized that sometimes humility also means allowing others to come alongside you when life takes an unexpected turn.

2026 has been one of the hardest years of my life. For those who know me, you know I'm usually the one rallying others, organizing, teaching, serving, and trying to help fix things for everyone else. Being on the other side of that has been incredibly humbling.

Between a difficult personal situation and the toll it took on my mental health, I reached a point where I knew I couldn't push through anymore. On the recommendation of my doctor, I made the difficult decision to follow her guidance and take a medical leave so I could focus on healing.

That wasn't an easy decision for me. I'm someone who prefers to keep pressing forward, but I knew I needed to listen to the professionals who have been walking this journey with me. Healing hasn't happened overnight, but little by little, I'm getting stronger, and for that I am incredibly grateful.

The first portion of my disability benefits was approved, allowing me the time and space to focus on recovery. As my leave continued, my employer continued paying me while the second portion of my claim was under review. Unfortunately, I've been informed that the insurance company denyied that portion of the claim. If that decision stands, I'll have to repay the wages my employer has already paid me while we waited for the review to be completed.

Between repaying those wages, upcoming medical expenses, and my everyday bills, I'm facing a financial burden I simply wasn't prepared for.

At the same time, I've been doing everything I can to move forward. I'm believing the Father will open the right door, but I also believe He asks that I humble myself and ask for help while I continue to walk through this process. My goal of $5,800 represents approximately two months of essential living expenses while I continue navigating this unexpected financial setback and work toward the open door YHWH has for me to walk through.

More than anything, I would appreciate your prayers — for wisdom, peace, continued healing, and for the right opportunity to come at exactly the right time.

If Abba places it on your heart to help financially, I would be incredibly grateful. Every gift, no matter the size, helps lighten the burden during this unexpected season. If you'd rather support my small business instead, I handcraft paracord Tzitzit at HolyFringes.com, and every order helps more than you know.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Whether you pray, share this campaign, place an order, or contribute financially, I am deeply grateful for your kindness and generosity.

I don't know exactly what the next chapter looks like yet, but I do know Who is writing it, and I am trusting Him to lead the way.

I am beyond thankful to everyone who helps me bridge the gap.

Shalom & Blessings,

Dana
