36 Sends One Child Back to School — Help Fr. Riaz

Fr. Riaz recently reached out to me with a simple problem: his school reopens on September 1, and 40 of his students still have nothing they need to start the year. No shoes, no books, no notebooks, no school bag. Their families simply cannot afford them; after food and rent, there is nothing left.

Here's what he wrote to me:

"Some of our students are still unable to purchase the necessary school supplies they need for the new academic year... Sadly, their families cannot afford to purchase these essential items. Your generosity would make a meaningful difference in their education and bring great encouragement to them and their families."

In Pakistan, these aren't optional extras. A child without books and supplies can't fully participate in school. These kids want to be there. Their parents want them there. The only thing standing in the way is about $36 per child.

What it costs: The complete set for one child: shoes, books, notebooks, geometry box, pencils, erasers, sharpeners, and a school bag, costs PKR 10,000, roughly $36 USD.

2. $1,080 covers 30 children
3. $1,440 covers all 40 children

If we can provide for all 40, every one of these kids walks through the school gate on September 1 with confidence and dignity.

Every dollar raised goes directly to Fr. Riaz for purchasing these supplies. He will personally oversee the buying and distribution before school starts, and I'll post photos and updates here so you can see exactly where your gift went.
