Alabama's First Alternative Educational Farm Day Camp.
$250,000 needed...

CADENCE BANK OF RAINBOW CITY IS OUR FIRST SPONSOR & JOINT CHIROPRACTIC IN GADSDEN HAS FOLLOWED AS THE SECOND SPONSOR. MEADOWLARKCOMPANIES, a Woman Owned Transportation Business - Mrs. Amanda Roth, Doty Transportation - Mike & Kelly.

A SBA Certified Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small CHRISTIAN Farm that feels this is how we can help our community and State we love so much.

Our Mission is to build Alabama's First "Alternative Educational Farm Day Camp" to bring students from around Alabama and the USA who are in an underserved environment, food desert, or any educational setting and teach them how we can work together to grow food in ways that they have never seen before and show them Gods wondrous miracle of food growth.  They will learn how the trucking industry is a huge part of the farming industry.

This is Alabama's First Off-Site Educational Farm Camp that allows ALL Education Groups to come.

Our core group of 5th - 8th grade students will come to our farm AT NO COST.

We will provide an experience of farming that is all encompassing. Partnering with Alabama A&M University, Jacksonville State University, and Tuskegee University. We will have Professors that are uniquely qualified to come and talk to students. These professors are from the same backgrounds and can speak to the students in ways that others cannot.

We are already committed to Etowah and Calhoun County Schools, Boys & Girls Clubs, Housing Authorities, Homeschoolers, Private Schools, Colleges and Universities, and ANY CHURCH INTERESTED.

The students will learn about Hydroponics, Aquaponics, Aeroponics, Indoor Farming, and Nutrient Film Technique Farming. They will be given an opportunity to plant their own seeds and via video watch their plants grow to harvest. At harvest we will take the plants they grew and take them to the school and they can eat what they grow.

Our farm will not only be available to this group but to any age group beyond the 5th grade level. We want to educate all that are interested in Water Conservation, Pollution Reduction, Refurbishing Buildings for Indoor Farming, Eradicating Food Deserts, and Feeding their own communities with a farm that is Local.
We have already purchased a 21,900 Sq. Ft. building and land for $250,000, but the building is outdated and needs a complete overhaul with electricity, inner and outer wall work, and of course the equipment for the Educational Farm Day Camp.

Please Help Us make a change in Future Farmers today, so they can feed us tomorrow.
The money raised will provide the following:
Completely Renovating the 21,900 Sq. Ft. Building: $100,000 (Electrical, Plumbing, Concrete Work, Walls, Outer LED Lights, and Video Equipment)
Hydroponic, Aeroponic, NFT, and Vertical Rack Systems: $30,000
HVAC: $30,000
Educational Materials for Kids: $40,000
$50,000 - Architecture Plans
Our actual Goal is a minimum $250,000 so we can have a Safe, State of the Art Educational Facility for Educationing Future Farmers.

We are hopeful that some of our local, county, state, and federal officials will see the benefit of this farm and be able to help us.
We are also hopeful that local Churches, Businesses, Corporations, and Individuals will see the benefit in investing in our younger kids with something as unique as this farm.

This Educational Farm will provide several jobs to Returning Citizens, College and High School Students who want to learn about new technology in Farming.

Thank you Ms. Sophia and all employees at CADENCE BANK for stepping up to help us Educate our kids.

ALL EXCESS FOOD GROWN THAT IS NOT SOLD WILL BE DONATED TO OUR 'COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF CENTRAL ALABAMA', LOCAL CHURCHES AND SHELTERS.

PLEASE BE THE NEXT STUDENT, CORPORATION, BANK, BUSINESS, or INDIVIDUAL TO HELP US.
