WOKE! Board Game Funding

Hello.

It's pretty clear after the length of 2023 that this campaign isn't going to meet it's target. I get it, times are tough. To those that did donate I've reached out to GSG to make you receive your donation back. I'm waiting to hear. You need to know that I didn't pull any funds out of the campaign, simply waited patiently (and worked hard) while trying to spread word about the game.

I appreciate everyone who gave or prayed!

A friend told me a long time ago, "Let it be what God wants" - and we weren't even talking about the game, other things - but he was right, and I've lived and though about that ever since.

It is what it is. Not that it's 'over', I just can't, in good conscious, hold on to other people's money. And most especially for something that may or may not ever happen (when they ask, "hold on to this for me", I will, because sometimes everyone needs a 'personal bank' :) )

Thank you so much for learning about the game, what it stood for, and it's intention.

When we left off I was talking about the game (of course!), the new screenplay "Trump Train", the podcast Woke News Report, and the 'new new' podcast Wednesday Night Bible Read Podcast (WNBR Podcast) - and here's an update, well, at least for WNBR.

It's doing well! Keep in mind, I don't mind if it has only a handful of viewers or several hundred. It would be great to have several (hundred) thousand tune in each Wednesday night, but that's not the point of the show. It's just a way to get ME to read my Bible more, lol. So, that's all I do. Sit and read and record.

Here's the news on that though, I've reached out to a friend of mine, for the first time, to be a 'guest reader' for the week. It's a cool idea I think ... get some others I know involved. Will he? I don't know! But it seems like he will.

Goood morning! Came over this morning to give an update and found the campaign was unpublished, yikes! I didn't get an email that I recall, but it happened. At any rate, as you can see, it's back live again.

The Wednesday Night Bible Read (WNBR Podcast) did kick off last Wednesday and, surprisingly, it got a lot of views. Really happy about that. I've already recorded the new one for release tonight.

Unlike my other show, Woke News Report Podcast, I don't mention the game - however, since I'm using the same set for the show, the game is always in the background. So maybe more will see it, be intrigued, and come check it out and support it. That would be great.

Trump Train the Movie is still making the rounds - slowly. The way I figure I have until around April to get it made for a hopeful July summer release. Now, to find the right people to help it be made? Well, we'll see. Lord willing someone or someones will come along. Maybe you know someone?

I mentioned a couple of weeks ago I had written a screenplay, "Trump Train the Movie", and I'm happy to announce I'm giving out the first 9 pages (the first 10 miutes of the movie when filmed) for free to anyone who would like to read how the movie begins.

Normally I would send you to the website, have you enter your email address and then receive it, but rather than do that here on this platform (out of respect for GSG), anyone that wants a copy can just reach out to me and I'll send you the link where you can get it.

If you've read these updates you know it's a clean conservative comedy movie and really a commercial for WOKE! Board Game - but you'll enjoy it.

It's been a couple of more weeks and, depite this campaign not knocking it out of the park (in a sense, I APPRECIATE WHO GAVE AND ALL THE PRAYERS), it's always chin up, good things are coming, and God is good (because He is).

The show (Woke News Report Podcat) is going well, with about the same amount of viewers across the board as prior weeks - and even a couple of real listens on Apple, Spotify, iHEART etc.

The screenplay is being read now. Agents, actors, production companies. I suppose it's gaining traction because some have asked for budgets (or what's called attachment fees - that's when you 'hire' an actor to 'attach' to the film). It's also at one major book publisher, and hopefully, will be going to another soon. If it gets picked up as a book there's a better chance of getting it financed - somewhere.

I started writing a new book, HOAXSTERS, Inc. I may have mentioned I'd started another book not long ago, and that's on the slate - for later. HOAXSTERS, Inc. is going to take a while as it's chock full of research.

Oh, and Ron DeBobblehead has launched! RonDeBobblehead.com ... you'll get a kick out of it (if you don't support the 'real Ron', or just have a sense of humor.

Good morning and happy Friday! Can you imagine we're already in the 8th month of the year? Wow, it's giong by fast.

Well, we're still plugging away! The show is going well, the screenplay is starting to make the rounds and yes, more people are finding out about WOKE! Board Game by the day.

Imagine this scenerio: The screenplay finds a book publisher, which then helps find a producer for the movie, which then gets some great talent and makes the film, which is released to a conservative audience of 74,000,000 people and those people learn about WOKE! Board Game from the movie and the book.

Sounds like a plan! Well, that's the plan. Now, what God does with it, is up to Him. Obviously. He'll direct the path and whatever happens, will simply happen. But, working each and every day to make it happen.

I wrote a screenplay, and really, it's a 90 minute film as a commercial for WOKE! Board Game™ but there is a lot of humor and entertainment and "heart" in the overall conservative storyline and I think anyone who either reads it (or sees it when it's released) will enjoy it tremendously. Here's the news:

A "certain big-time" book publisher accepted it. No deal is on the table as this only happened a couple of days ago, and it may take some time - but it's pretty exciting!

In the meantime, Woke News Report Podcast is doing well and I continue to remain positive about this campaign here on GiveSendGo.

It looks great back there, and I'm happy to say, the show is still doing well, and still growing - so, no matter what, people are starting to learn about WOKE! Board Game. (see the pic)

ALSO. after around 45 days of writing it's finally happened - my SCREENPLAY is complete! And tomorrow, it starts going out to various Conservative and Christian movie studios!

The "real star" of the movie? WOKE! Board Game, of course!

I devoted a LONG scene showing my characters playing the game and having fun. And in fact, even ended the movie with the "success" of the game. I can't wait to share more about that and the process it's going through, but Lord willing ...

First, if you're taking the time to read these updates, and I try and povide them in a timely manner, THANK YOU. This update is a good one.

As you know, several weeks back I started the Woke News Report Podacast (https://wokenewsreport.com) in order to do 2 things:

1. Promote WOKE! Board Game and this givesendgo campaign (which I do every show)

2. To help in the fight against all the woke things happening in this world (and specically, this country).

THIS WEEK something special is arriving to the studio! My new backdrop for the show.

If you've seen the show you know it's always been "Old Glory", the American flag. And no disrespect to the flag, but it's time to upgrade. So the upgrade? A 5ft x 5ft WOKE! Board Game board!!!

That's right! I had a custom WOKE! Board Game banner made and it's the actual board game! :)

Now when people tune in to watch the show (and I'm running about 100 per episode in the first 48 hours) people will see a piece of the game behind me - and they can't NOT see it! It's going to be there - right in their face :)

I haven't received it yet, so I can only pray that it looks as good as I'm hoping it does in my own mind.

I think it's really going to help spread the word and message.

Hello GiveSendGo! Another update:

The podcast is going really well. Better than expected I suppose. On an aggregate there are about 100 viewers a day on a new episode, and that's good for only being a little over a month old. I can only pray that it continues to grow and people continue to enjoy the content.

The game is still front and center and everything (from the podcast to the websites to the social media accounts etc) is geared towards helping this campaign really take off and get this tabletop board game in the hands of as many people as possible.

Clearly an uphill climb, but as so many with GiveSendGo campaigns know, it usually is. That's okay. No giving up! God is good and His timing is perfect - so we do our part.

Good morning everyone! Time for another update!

Still working hard at spreading the message of WOKE! Board Game™ of course, and in that regard I've started making more video content and working on building out the remaining tools I need in order to do so.

New studio lights arrived yesterday (and more today) and finally the Woke News Report™ Podcast is going to look much much more professional and better - in fact, it's going to seem like a 'real' newscast and not some 'dark shadow from a basement' type thing. So I'm really excited about that and having all the pieces in place.

The views are going well too - which means that every time someone watches an episode of the show, they also hear about WOKE! Board Game!!

At some point, and I don't know when that will be but I pray soon, donations will be coming in, people will be talking and sharing the game with their friends and family (thank you if you do!), and yes, we WILL make it into manufacturing. I'm confident of that.

Good morning good people! WOKE! Board Game™ is still working to spread the message of this awesome tabletop game designed for friends, family, and 'frenemies' to play. It's an '-opoly' style game and the rules are simple:1. Choose the “banker” - this person is responsible for the money, the community cards, the mortgages, and goes first. 2. Each player receives: 3 $100, 4 $50, 5 $20, 10 $10, 10 $5 (begin with $750) 3. Begin in the Start position. Roll the dice and starting clockwise, move spots according to the roll. 4. Collect money or pay the fine before following any instructions on the board. 5. When you move from being in one of the four internal spots (Bellevue Hospital, Recycling, AOC Crocodile Tears, Trump Derangement Syndrome), before your play resumes you must pay any fines owed or return to the internal spot and continue missing turns. 6. If all players move to the four internal spots, play resumes and no turns are missed. 7. Missing 4 turns in a row makes you WOKE! and you lose the game. 8. If ‘snake eyes’ or ‘double 6’ are rolled, before moving, the player must choose a community card, read aloud, and follow its instructions - if it is not a ‘keep’ card, return the card to the banker. Once all of the cards have been played, the banker enters the cards back into the deck and reshuffles. 9. There are 7 board spots which can be purchased from the bank. Once purchased you will receive a card starting ownership and your right to collect money from those who land on your property. You can sell your property to another player, assuming they are willing to pay your price. 10. The last player that doesn’t go broke, isn’t WOKE!, and wins the game.

Hello everyone. GiveSendGo is a really special place. I received a call not long after starting my campaign to raise funds for WOKE! Board Game™ from someone there and they left the most amazing prayer on message. It was really heartfelt and touching. I just kept claiming what they were saying! I haven't checked the prayers clicked in a little while but the last time I did the number was 6 .... now it's up to 22!! Twenty Two! .... that's amazing, and so appreciated.
