Hello everyone,

I'm the wife of a USAF Veteran asking for immediate financial help to avoid homelessness due to unexpected car repairs.

My husband received help from 2 Veterans organizations once this year when the hardship began affecting us, but no other organizations we applied to are able to or willing to assist.

Our landlord is AMAZING and very patient. He can testify that we've been great tenants by taking good care of the home and yard. He even offered us a chance to buy the house from him once we get our finances together. While he's very understanding of our current financial hardships, he's being pressured by his partners to recoup the past due rent balance of $1,275 for May and $375 for June or they (the partners) will have to file a notice at the courthouse. Our lack of payments are affecting their ability to repay the mortgage on the home we're living in.

To help get the money we need, my husband applied for an employee hardship loan, but the funds will not be here until July 14th. In the meantime, we've tried borrowing money from friends and family, but they're in a similar financial strain. We've downloaded money apps and connected our bank accounts, only to receive error messages. We've sold a few rare toys and collectibles, but were given less than $300 which was consumed by household bills and groceries. We even went back to the pawnshop, but only received $200 for 2 game systems.

I'm asking for immediate help in this situation because we've run out of "traditional" options on our end. We've been praying for a "fresh start" and was referred here from one of the ministries we sow into. We've always practiced Proverbs 19:17 by "lending to the poor", even when our finances have been tight. GOD/YHVH said "HE will not suffer the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22) and we're taking this to heart, literally.

Here's a breakdown of what the $2,925 will be used for:

*Past due rent balances (May & June)-$1,650

*Current rent (July)-$1,275
