I am a grandmother raising my four grandchildren since June 2023. They have endured severe trauma when their mother was taken from them, and I stepped in to give them safety and stability. I left my two part-time jobs, gave up my car, and took on significant financial hardship to temporarily relocate three hours away. I first moved temporarily to where they were living to protect them, then worked to secure a safe apartment large enough to bring them back with me. We now have a secure place to live, but the situation is still urgent. My granddaughter has made multiple suicide attempts from the end of June to the end of November 2025 due to horrific memories and nightmares after experiencing years of rape and physical abuse from the biological father, along with her older nonverbal autistic sister. They need stability, mental healthcare, and ongoing support now more than ever. My biggest goal is to save their family home before it’s lost. Their mother worked hard to buy the home, both parents wasn’t able to get it completed in time. it is currently uninhabitable due to severe mold and at risk due to overdue property taxes.

Dire need to retain an attorney to keep my grandsons in school by 9/2026.

* Pay back taxes before the home is sold. My tax refund is delayed, which is why I fell behind.

* Repair major damage, including the roof.

* Preserve the home so the children can one day return to it.
