Hi, my name is Mara, and I never imagined I would be in a position where I needed to ask for help like this.

Recently, my car was destroyed in an accident, and unfortunately, my insurance is not covering the loss. This has left me without a vehicle—and in the area where I live, having a car isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity.

I work two jobs, often putting in 14–15 hour days, just to stay afloat and provide for my family. I also have custody of my grandson, who is autistic and requires regular medical appointments, some of which are outside our town. Without a vehicle, getting him the care he needs and getting myself to work has become incredibly difficult and stressful.

Public transportation is very limited where I live, and relying on Ubers is simply not affordable long-term. On top of everything, I am still left owing money on the car that was totaled, which makes starting over even harder.

I am not asking for anything fancy or new—just a reliable vehicle that will allow me to:

1. Get to my jobs
2. Take my grandson to his medical appointments
3. Continue supporting my family independently

It is very hard for me to ask for help. I have always worked hard and done everything I can on my own, raising my children as a single parent and doing my best to provide. But right now, I truly need a helping hand.

I have been praying for guidance and support, and I’m placing my trust in God and in the kindness of others who may feel led to help.
