Hello, my name is Martha, and I am reaching out today to ask for help for my mother, Gisela.

Last year, my mother was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that has rapidly worsened and significantly affected her health and quality of life. Over the past several months, her condition has continued to decline, and last month she had to be hospitalized as an emergency. She is currently still admitted in the hospital receiving medical care.

My mother is in Venezuela, where the healthcare system is extremely limited. Medical insurance coverage is very restricted or unavailable for cases like hers, there are no payment plans, and medical expenses must be paid in advance and on a daily basis. Hospitalization, medications, tests, and specialized care have become overwhelming costs for our family.

For this reason, we have created this campaign with a goal of $5,000 to help cover part of her medical expenses and ensure she continues receiving the care she urgently needs.
