Tyler Torrez is 29 years old. On February 28th he went into the ER for stroke like symptoms. Little did we know the outcome would be much greater than that and he would be facing the fight of his life.

He was admitted into the hospital that night and started his variety of tests, MRIs, CT scans, spinal taps, etc. They could see that something was there but couldn’t pin point what exactly was in his brain, inflammation or a mass. With a team of neurologists looking at his results, it was clear he was an anomaly.

We continued his journey down to Henry Ford and they continued on testing, more MRIs, EEG, spinal taps, etc. They came to the conclusion that it was a Glioma, a cancerous tumor and a biopsy was necessary in order to move forward with treatment.

This tumor effecting the left side of his brain and is attacking his motor skills, leaving him unable to work. With medical bills piling up, the expenses are overwhelming.
