Turn a Loss Into Hope for Others

Every day, people lose their savings to fraud, hacking, identity theft, platforms that freeze funds, and other schemes that are becoming increasingly sophisticated.

When it happens, the financial loss is only part of the problem. There is also the sense of helplessness, the uncertainty, and one difficult question:

Where do I turn now?

My own experience led me to ask that very question. I currently have approximately $20,000 of my savings that I am unable to access, following a situation involving a platform I trusted.

But this campaign was created to turn that experience into something that can help others.

As I reflected on what happened, surrounded by the people I care about, I began thinking about all those who go through similar situations without the technical knowledge, financial resources, or support they need to know what to do next.

Older adults, families, everyday savers, and victims of digital fraud often find themselves facing systems and organizations far larger than they are, with little idea of where to begin.

That is why I want to build an independent initiative dedicated to preventing, documenting, and combating financial and digital fraud, while helping victims understand their options and find the right path forward.

What Do We Want to Build?

The first stage has a fundraising goal of $70,000 and will allow us to build and launch the system, including:

1. development of the technology and online platform;
2. investigation and documentation of cases;
3. production of educational content;
4. public awareness campaigns;
5. security and analytical tools;
6. project coordination and operations;
7. hiring qualified professionals;
8. and legal guidance when necessary.

We want to create free, easy-to-understand resources that help people recognize warning signs, verify companies and platforms, protect their accounts, and understand what information they should preserve when something goes wrong.

We also want to develop tools that help organize evidence properly, including transfers, contracts, conversations, emails, blockchain addresses, screenshots, and other relevant documents.

The goal is to help victims better understand what happened, what options may be available to them, and which professionals or authorities they can turn to.

As the initiative grows, we hope to investigate documented cases, work with specialists, and, when the resources and circumstances allow, support legal actions aimed at protecting victims from potential fraud or abuse.

We cannot promise to recover every dollar that has been lost.

No responsible organization could make that promise.

What we can do is work toward a future where fewer people have to go through these experiences completely alone, with no idea where to begin.

Transparency

Transparency will be one of our core principles.

We will publish updates on the development of the platform, the resources we create, investigations, activities carried out, and the general use of funds, while always respecting the privacy of victims and any confidentiality required in connection with legal matters.

This initiative was born from an experience I wish I had never gone through.

But since it happened, I want to turn it into knowledge, prevention, and greater ability for others to protect and defend themselves.

I am not asking you to donate out of pity.

I am inviting you to help build something that can prevent future losses and provide useful tools to people who have already been affected.

If one guide prevents someone from handing their savings over to a scam, if one investigation helps document an abuse, or if one victim finally finds a path forward, then this initiative will already be fulfilling its purpose.
