Hello everyone.

I am a Type 1 Diabetic. Over the past several months I have faced many challenges with this disease, and I reached a point where I needed help. My primary insurance was terminated, and I moved back with my daughter, away from my primary doctor. This resulted in my medications not getting approved for prescription pickup. I was told I could pay for my insulin out of pocket, but I was living paycheck to paycheck and couldn’t afford it.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many of you, I was able to reach my initial goal, and I am truly grateful. Your kindness gave me a lifeline which I will never forget it.

Unfortunately, this month I had an unexpected car repair that I couldn’t put off, I need my car to get to work. That expense has put me behind, and I’m now unable to cover my insulin supplies, which cost $400 out of pocket each month.

Insulin is a life-saving medication for someone with Type 1 Diabetes, as my body does not naturally produce it. I would not be asking for help again if it weren’t as serious as losing my life.
