Nancy and Tony, are two of the most loving and faith-filled people you could ever meet. Now, they are walking through a season that has tested their strength to the deepest levels and revealed God’s sustaining mercy in powerful ways. They need our support, our prayers, and our love.

They have spent their lives giving to others, encouraging hope, and living out their faith with grace and steadfastness. They are truly incredible parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents! 

Nancy’s Journey

This year, Nancy, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a cancer that affects the bone marrow, blood production, and, in her case, has impacted her entire skeletal system. The disease has caused multiple spontaneous compression fractures throughout her spine, resulting in pain, limited mobility, and months of in-home care.

There were times when her life was in real danger, but through prayer, medical care, and her unshakable faith, she continues to recover. Even with insurance, the cost of medications, therapies, equipment, and home support has reached thousands of dollars. Yet Mom continues to face each day with courage, gratitude, and faith in God’s healing power.

Tony’s Journey

Just as Mom began to stabilise and the light was beginning to show at the end of the tunnel, our dad, Tony (who helps take care of mom) suffered a severe fall that caused a cervical spinal cord injury (C3–C6) and a three column compression fracture on his T9, & T10 along his spinal column. The trauma damaged the nerves controlling both his heart and movement, requiring emergency surgery to save his life.

As a result, Dad lost movement in both his arms and legs. He is now in intensive rehabilitation, working daily toward recovery with the same determination and faith that have defined his life. In the days after surgery, he showed very small but remarkable signs of progress, including the moment he gripped a nurse’s finger for the first time. Each movement, however small, is a sign of God’s grace at work.

Both of our parents came dangerously close to losing their lives this year, yet they are here, recovering, and continuing to testify to God’s goodness in the midst of it all.

Our $30,000 Goal: Creating a Home for Healing and Paying off Medical Bills.

Nancy and Tony’s home must now be adapted for accessibility, safety, and daily rehabilitation.

Funds raised will help provide:

• Medical and rehabilitation expenses not covered by insurance.
• Home modifications to create a safe, accessible living environment, including:
• Remodeling the downstairs bathroom for assisted living and wheelchair use.
• Installing ramps, handrails, and mobility aids.
• Preparing space for therapy equipment and caregiving support.
• Ongoing care, transportation, and medication costs essential to their recovery

Our goal of $30,000 will make their home a safe sanctuary for healing, a place where faith, love, and restoration can flourish each day for them. It was also help alleviate the burden of their medical bills and the debt will be lessened.

Hope That Holds

Our family has seen firsthand deep in the valley, God is present. His grace has met us in hospital rooms, sleepless nights, and tearful, desperate prayers. We have witnessed life, peace, and hope being renewed one day and one prayer at a time.

We believe Nancy and Tony’s story is one of faith, endurance, and restoration. It is a living testimony that God’s healing power still works wonders in the midst of trial. It is also a testimony of two people who are faith-filled in the midst of great testing. We have never sensed a victim mentality in either of them, but endless praises to Jesus. It has been one of the greatest things we have witnessed in our lives - their unwavering faith in Jesus through this year and their love for Him.
