Tillage Press Books They Refuse to Publish

There are millions of Americans who feel it.

The teacher who stopped speaking her mind at staff meetings. The father who wants to lead his family spiritually but doesn't know where to start. The parent who pulled her kids from school and is building something new, mostly alone. The professional who watched a colleague get fired for a Facebook post — and went quiet after that.

They're not fringe. They're not extreme. They're your neighbors, your coworkers, your fellow churchgoers.

And almost no one in mainstream publishing is writing books for them.

That's what Tillage Press is changing.

What We're Building

Tillage Press is an independent publishing imprint dedicated to books that restore identity, recover voice, and resource people who are building something better — outside the institutions that have failed them.

We're not a political operation. We're not a think tank. We are a publishing house. And we believe the most powerful thing you can put in someone's hands is a book that makes them say: "I thought I was alone in this."

The Books

We have eight titles in development — each one written to meet a real reader at a real moment in their life:

• The Homeschool Reformation — For the parent who pulled their kids from the system and needs more than curriculum. They need a movement to belong to.

• Conscience Over Compliance — For the Christian professional told to choose between their faith and their job. A practical theology and legal-literacy guide for standing firm.

• The Father Reformation — For the man sitting in the back pew wondering if the church actually needs him. A call to reclaim spiritual leadership in the home.

• The Unpublishable Truth — For the professional who self-censored after watching a colleague get destroyed for saying what they believed. A guide to recovering your voice.

• Parallel Society — A road map to the growing ecosystem of alternative schools, churches, banks, and communities that ordinary Americans are quietly building right now.

• After DEI — For the professional who survived the woke workplace era and wants to help build what comes next. Constructive, practical, and forward-looking.

• The Deplatformed — True stories from teachers, nurses, coaches, and small business owners who lost everything for saying what they believed — told in their own words.

• The Donor's Manifesto — A strategic giving guide for conservatives who want to fund the cultural infrastructure they want to exist, not just the next election cycle.

These are books that legacy publishers won't touch. Not because they're hateful — they're not. But because they're honest. And honest books about faith, family, and freedom don't fit the agenda of the five corporations that control most of what gets published in America today.

Where Your Money Goes

Every dollar raised funds the direct costs of bringing these books to readers:

  1. Manuscript editing and development for our first three titles
  2. Cover design and interior formatting
  3. Print production and distribution
  4. Direct-to-reader fulfillment through independent and church bookshops

We are not paying for Manhattan office space. We are not taking advances. We are building lean, staying independent, and getting books into the hands of the people who need them.

Why Now

The homeschooling movement has doubled and isn't retreating. Hundreds of Americans lost jobs in 2025 for saying what they believed. Men are leaving the church in record numbers. Federal DEI programs have been dismantled — but no one has written the book on what comes next.

The cultural moment is here. The readers are ready. The writers are being called.

We need your help to build the home they'll publish from.

Every gift — at any amount — moves us closer to putting the first Tillage Press book into a reader's hands. Share this campaign with someone who needs it. And if you know a writer with something true to say and nowhere to say it, send them our way.

"Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it."
