Hello Everyone,

We are starting this GiveSendGo so we may ask for your help and support. We are at the point where we must humble ourselves and acknowledge that we now desperately need help from family and friends – known and unknown – to help keep our home from being foreclosed on.

Life has thrown our family curveballs for a while now and at times it feels like we’re being tossed a whole bucket of them! Toi has been unable to work for nearly 3 years due to the debilitating effects of Long-COVID and a newly diagnosed, disabling autoimmune disease. Kody has had to step back from his work so he can help her manage everyday activities while her doctors fine tune her medical treatment and get her on the path to recovery.

Decades of hard work, smart saving and budgeting, and thoughtful spending helped Toi and Kody make ends meet for a couple of years after Toi was no longer able to work due to her illnesses, but we have reached the point of not being able to continue traveling a financial track on our own and are currently facing foreclosure on our home while living expenses continue to close in on us.

Although Toi has applied for her rightful benefits that she worked 30 yrs for the same agency to earn, they have taken more than 2 years to process due to fiscal cutbacks, underfunding, and understaffing. She has filed for a dire-need acceleration of benefits in an attempt to save our home, but there is no telling how much longer her case will take to be accepted and funds to be received.  

Any contribution, big or small, will go toward helping us prevent foreclosure on our home and ease our burdens and stress of monthly living expenses, and will make a huge difference whether it's a donation or simply sharing our story with others. Your kindness and generosity will not only provide financial support but also uplift our spirits and let us know that we are not in this alone.
