when the 2025 Stillwater and Guthrie Wildfires absolutely decimated hundreds of homes and lives, it was like a gut punch to the great state of Oklahoma. We saw first hand the devastation and destruction of a serious natural disaster. It tore through homes and hearts alike, leaving behind loss and heartache in its wake.

Unfortunately, in just the year 2025 alone, 115 disaster declarations were sent out, affecting hundreds if not thousands of Americans. In 2024 Oklahoma reported 152 confirmed tornadoes, and in 2025 106 tornadoes. In march of 2025 alone,130 wildfires were reported affecting 44 counties and burning 170,000 acres, which included cattle ranches, farms and homes.

This year in Oklahoma so far, there have been 5 confirmed tornadoes just in the month of January, and a WHOPPING 122 wildfires, burning over 302,200 acres statewide.

Largely inspired by the second Twisters movie, and the service organization LDS Helping Hands, we knew we had to do something to help. And so, Team Interceptor was born.🔥🌪️🌀⛈️ Based out of the North Western part of Oklahoma, we come from the small city of Enid, America! we respond to affected communities with compassion and resilience. Our team is made up of myself, Niki, my best friend, Lexi, our little red Tacoma named the Interceptor, and everyone who is willing to lend a helping hand! And while our resolve is strong, the resources needed to support those affected aren't always as forthcoming or immediate as they should be.

💔 The cost of supplies and equipment for each mission adds up fast. From meals, snacks, water and First Aid supplies, the list goes on, It’s a costly endeavor that we undertake without hesitation because it matters here at home... but even the strongest heart can feel stretched thin when faced with such vast need.
