We are a group of friends and community members coming together to support our dear friend Michonne, a devoted single mother, and her 15-year-old son Boston, who is facing a serious medical journey with epilepsy.

Over the past several years, Boston’s life — and Michonne’s — has been shaped by unpredictable seizures, ongoing neurological care, and major medical decisions. In August 2022, Boston underwent brain surgery at just 12 years old. While the family hoped that surgery would resolve his condition, Boston continues to experience seizures and requires continued treatment and monitoring.

Another brain surgery is currently planned for Summer 2026, along with ongoing neurological care, regular MRI scans, EEG monitoring, and long-term follow-up. In addition, Boston will be receiving an epilepsy-trained service dog to help improve safety, independence, and quality of life.

As a single mother, Michonne has carried the emotional, physical, and financial weight of this journey with incredible strength and faith. This fundraiser exists to support her and Boston directly as they navigate the challenges of epilepsy and complex medical care.

How the funds will be used

Our goal is to raise $50,000 to help cover essential medical needs:

• $50,000 — Brain surgery (Summer 2026)

Every donation goes directly toward Boston’s medical care and related expenses, helping relieve some of the burden on Michonne as she focuses on her son’s health and well-being.
