Angie was diagnosed April 2022 with Estrogen Positive, Progesterone Negative, HER2 Positive Breast Cancer. God’s hand is all over this journey starting with the early detection but it’s going to be a journey indeed. Angie is embracing the next steps with grace, all while showing God’s strength in our weakness (2 Cor. 12:10-12, 11:30).
Needless to say, the financial strain is far broader than expected. We want to support Angie on her journey, offset the cost of 6 rounds of Chemotherapy, Surgery, Radiation, 1 year of Adjuvant therapy, travel, expenses, and recovery. Financial pressure is a distraction from what God is doing - fighting the good fight and sharing his goodness along the way. I think it is so sweet how God uses his children to love one another, serve one another, pray for one another, be intricately involved with one another, care for one another, edify and encourage one another, and carry one another’s burdens.
In Romans 8:28, one of the most encouraging verses in all the Bible (I think), one that shows God’s sovereign power. There He grants us a tremendous promise that only an all-powerful, all-knowing God could promise:
Romans 8:28 - and we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.
ALL things, even Breast Cancer.
We are standing on this verse, with Angie, because it has special meaning to her in this season:
Zephaniah 3:17 - The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”
Your support and prayers are sincerely appreciated. We are better together.
All proceeds go directly to Angie Ivey.
