My sister Susan  is one of the most creative, kind-hearted, and resilient people I know—and if you know her, you know that’s not an exaggeration.

She has always been the kind of person who gives… whether it’s through her art, her time, or simply the way she shows up for people when they need it most. She doesn’t do things halfway—she pours her whole heart into everything and everyone around her.

Like many artists, her income depends on her ability to physically create. It’s not just her work—it’s who she is.

And right now, that’s been taken from her.

Last night, she had a serious accident while exercising. She broke her right arm in two places and dislocated it. In an instant, everything changed.

She’s now facing weeks—possibly longer—of recovery without the ability to work, create, or support herself the way she always has.

It’s overwhelming. And it’s happening all at once.

She didn’t ask me to do this—but I couldn’t not show up for her the way she’s always shown up for others.
