🌟🏆 **"Aiming for the Bullseye, Even When Life Throws Curveballs"**

HI everyone! 👋 My son Zachary could use your support in his efforts to fund an upcoming national 4H championship competition; please consider helping a great young athlete & student achieve his dream. He was recently awarded this great honor, which by accepting came with the burden of large and unexpected expenses. He values and understands the importance of leadership, carrying on traditions and mentoring a younger generation which 4H Shooting Sports has provided him the opportunity to do over the years. It has taken over a decade of training to excel and achieve 1st in the Michigan 4H championship 3 years in a row for .22 resulting in being selected to participate in the national championship. Little did we know that as a young marksman he would become not only a top shooter and the pride of Muskegon County but represent our state at the U.S. Championship! 🎯

The curveball: As a national competitor, the program protocol changes and the competition requires two additional events per participant (compared to a single event- shooting discipline for state competitions); which is a whole new level of commitment on a personal and financial level costing a staggering amount. Some additional and different requirements under the national rules impact safety equipment including hearing and eye protection, rifles (Including necessary changes such as trigger work), cases, scopes, optics, thousands of rounds of premium grade ammunition, competition apparel including a new gear combination for NRA 3-Position, targets including metal silhouettes and paper targets, shooting mat, tripod, off-hand stand, not to mention range fees, all travel expenses plus more but you get picture. The transition from state to national level was not as simple as taking your honed skill to compete against the next level of marksman but it is a surprising and burdensome financial endeavor for this once in a lifetime opportunity. 🚀

Imagine: Training for one discipline (Such as Basketball), but then in order to go from state championship competition to the National you must have equipment for not one, but three sports (Such as a Basketball, Soccer and Hockey)—each, including the original, requiring different gear , especially rifles which can each cost thousands out-of-pocket. Zachary has been diligently training  and utilizing his own resources, working his hardest  to be his best and  represent Michigan on the national stage but he could use a lot of extra help-here’s where you step in! ⚖️
