Montez Lee is a political prisoner who was captured and incarcerated by the state during the historic 2020 George Floyd uprisings. Since then, he has been serving a 10-year federal sentence, and is currently waging a heroic battle to fight his illegitimate charges in appeals court and get his case overturned.

Montez needs our help to pay for ongoing support while he fights these charges. He is a father, musician, and friend to many, one of millions of Black people in this country who have been targeted for defending their communities from state violence. 

As the memory of the 2020 uprisings fades from view, let’s not let people like Montez who fought on the front lines be forgotten. Let’s work together to bring him home.
