UNAVAILABLE
On August 9, Zach and Hannah Zupan joyfully welcomed their third child, Naomi into their family. Several hours after her birth, It became apparent that little Naomi (seemingly perfectly healthy) was having trouble getting enough oxygen. After much monitoring and discussion, Naomi was transported to the hospital via ambulance for testing. Unable to diagnose the cause of her breathing issue, the doctors there recommended that she be transported via ambulance again to a higher level of care hospital. It was there that the medical team discovered Naomi has a rare heart condition known as Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Part of her heart did not develop properly. From the second hospital she was flown to Boston Children’s Hospital, where she will receive the most specialized care possible. Naomi’s condition will require extensive hospital stays, multiple surgeries and special care. This, of course comes with extremely large hospital bills, many travel expenses and the uncertainty of insurance coverage. Let’s come together and help the Zupan family in this scary and troubling time of little Naomi’s new life. Any donation is helpful to this beautiful family in their time of need.
