At 69 years old, I have always tried to handle things on my own. I am a survivor—I’ve made it through open heart surgery and two back surgeries with pins and plates. Nine years ago, I lost my only son, but even through that heartbreak, I refused to give up. This new challenge has tested me in ways I never expected, but I am determined to keep fighting.

My current condition is stage3. Awaiting doctors to suggest next step in therapy. This disease can be aggressive and extremely painful it causes me to be a recluse. I’ve already lost my best friends my father and brother in law. I wouldn’t wish this pain on anyone. Cancer has no pity or regrets it just takes away everything important to family and friends.
